Trips off the tongue a bit better than the 'running dog lackies of the CSA', a old 'party' favourite. Some poor efforts: "HEY HEY CSA. YOU ARE USELESS. GO AWAY." "HIDE THE SILVER, RUN AWAY. Gian-Luca Posted September 11, 2007 Share Posted September 11, 2007 This is probably fruitless for me to say so, but I would try to restrict using any anti-CSA chants to before the match or at half time. We've already got the banners (presumably) and people wearing black to get the message out, the chants should be primarily used to inspire our boys on the pitch once the game is on. Now, if you are going to do one, "We fought the CSA to get to South Africa" to the tune of "I bless the rains down in Africa" by Toto would work well. A "Jonathan for Canada" chant with the DeGuzman family presumably in attendance wouldn't go amiss either..... I posted the following on the usector board several days ago but it didn't get much of a response there. If at first you don't succeed....... : Some staples from the old days to use: Ra-Ra-Radzinski, Canada's greatest goal machine (to the tune of Rasputin by Boney-M) Come On Ali, Score for our team, for Canada, you mean everything! (to the tune of Come On, Eileen) We'll Get By with a little help from Rob Friend (fairly self explanatory) Doing "Atiba!" to the tune of "Tequila!" Serioux, Serioux, Serioux is on fire, or to the tune of Hey Jude (similar to the Edu chant). There's at least one other major Serioux chant from the Lynx days that I'm forgetting......
