juve82
yes another juve fan hehe. no need for remorse here. everyone got what was coming to them, some more than others. i see more achievement than the middle table, behind milan? not the way things are going for milan now. roberto has much of his family here as he is from the GTA. i keep in contact with him from week to week to see how he and the team is doing. he has great potential in italy much of which of course he could not acquire here in canada. many teams in italy were happy to take a look at his skills while here in canada he was snubbed. i dont think he knows anyone personally that is playing there, hes had to make it on his own starting a life abroad. the team had their first game of the season 2 weeks ago and won 1-0, against who? i dont know. but they play juve this sun in torino. very proud cousin, Luca

Never look back at what was or could have been, but instead look forward one step at a time. Its unfortunate that he has no one there with him but that will change as he gets older....you will see a big change the next time you see him,..,... Keep us posted on the games and his progress every week he plays.
papa stillz
I stumbled upon this site and am very interested in the comments and views shared by all who love the game. Roberto Stillo to clear up any questions is a 1991 and is the starting keeper for genoas allievi nazionale team. The league is only open to seria A, B C1 and C2 professional teams that choose to field a team at this age division. It is a league and national championship year which is the most competitive and followed in all of Italy because the stars of tomorrow are discovered here.He is a canadian kid with a passion and dream to not only play soccer at the highest level, but put Canada on the map and possibly open the doors for future canadians. From speaking to coaches and scouts there, lets just say Canada is not the first place they think of when it comes to recruiting players. We should be supporting and acknowledging kids with the courage to achieve a dream. The training he is receiving is top notch and on a day to day basis he is bound to improve. When you play against teams like Juventus, Sampdoria, Torino, Inter, Milan..........is that not a dream for most kids? ..........he's living it! papa stillz
The Genoa web site will be updated shortly and he will be on the 07/08 roster. The italian web site is http.www.settoregiovanile.figc.it-nazionale.com .Updates to the 24 game season and campionato is on this site for alot of the age groups. Big bird look at the calender at the giornata and that will tell you when he is playing so maybe you can watch him and please say hello! It would make him happy to speak with someone in english and from Canada to boot! Please ask for him when you are there! Genoa plays Juventus at home on the 27 of January and thats going to be a battle!By the way they are in the 6th game of the season and he has only allowed 2 goals against.......Juve. not bad for a unkown canadian kid! First of all let me correct you the site is http://www.settoregiovanile.figc.it/ then click I Campionati and you will get the results. Secondly, Yes I am very familiar with his play and his games, and i hope that I am keeping this forum well informed and no misleading information as to his progress and his time on the field that he has played,. He seems to have a very bright future ahead of him and came off a great games with Sampadoria two weeks ago in which he played the entire match., and this past weekend against the first place team winning 4-0 is no fluke. So be proud and make sure that he you pass on my wishes and we will meet up one day soon. Having my son there too since that age as yours, I know how tuff it is for you and the Mrs, his friends, and family, etc, as it was very much for us too when LittleBird signed with Milan at the age of 16 it was no easy task, but now that he is in his 5th year of service in Italy and today turning 21, he has never look back, since. So good luck to Robert and welcome to the post I sure would like to hear of your sons progress, keep me and others who care up to date as I will do the same. When I find some photo I trust I can post them of your son maybe soon ok.
