He did clear it with a header. Toja was then beaten to the ball by his Chivas opponent, but then the opponent handled it in order to do so before striking it into the net from distance. Shouldn't have been allowed, not sure what the Ref was looking at, it was a pretty obvious call.

Nik Ledgerwood played 90 minutes as 1860 won 7:1 over Fürstenfeldbruck.

Patrice Bernier also went the full distance in a 3:4 loss against Panionios Athens yesterday. Bad news for Josh Simposn, his injured knee still causes trouble. After another examination there was found an edema, so he will defenetly miss the season opener.

Rob Friend had a 45 minutes appereance in Gladbachs friendly game agains Bergisch Gladbach which the 2nd league club lost 3:2.

De Ro & Onstad play 90 as Houston defeats Club America 1-0 in the Superliga. De Ro played extremely well, towards the end of the game when the Mexican team was desperate to get the ball back they simply couldn't because De Ro kept possession of the ball so well.

CPUSA finally ran out of gas with their 4th game in 10 days with a 2-0 loss to Harrisburg...Brian Rowland kept CPUSA in the game at 1-0 after stopping a number of counterattacks until a PK was scored in the 80th minute...CPUSA will now play their 5th game on Saturday against Bermuda.
