Grizzly
In a way it is pretty cool that CBC is using soccer to try and put its sister channel on the map for tv viewers. It shows how much soccer has grown in respect in the last decade.

masster
Not a bad game. Dero was his usual hit and miss self. He had a very nice pass which set up the goal for Angel and made some nice runs as well. Other times he would be caught in posession when he was too slow on the ball. He was subbed out early in the second half. I can now understand why American soccer fans are frustrated with ESPN's soccer broadcasts. They throw up a bunch of useless graphics on the screen, they try using innovative but annoying camera angles, and the commentators tell too many stories and don't give you play by play. If you didn't know the players, you would have no idea who was touching the ball. I'm glad Country Canada picked up this game though. Does anybody know if a Canadian network will be showing Chelsea v LA Galaxy on Saturday? That game will be broadcast on ESPN as well.
Juby
why is it called 'country canada'? before I heard there was soccer on it I assumed it was like show's filmed on decks and porches, maybe in a garden? kinda like really old people tv. edit: Lawn chairs
