One of the defenders currently under contract may transfer to Rostock (this was maybe the opening Hainault would have filled). If this player transfers the Bochum coach wants to re-sign Imhof according to the article. The article also states that Imhof has offers from clubs in Canada and Switzerland. So it seems that TFC must have some interest in him if that is true. Most of the Bochum fans on the forum I got this from seem in favour of Imhof re-signing. The general opinion is he does not standout but does his job decently when called upon even if he hasn't played recently. Several prefer him over the player, Lense who may transfer to Rostock. His previous contract was extended for another year after the previously mentioned defender Lense transfered to Rostock. Congrats to Imhof and hopefully he will stay injury free this year and see more playing time. So we will have at least one Canadian playing in the 1st BL. Imhof bleibt doch in Bochum Der kanadische Mittelfeldakteur Daniel Imhof wird seinen zum Saisonende ausgelaufenen Vertrag beim VfL Bochum um ein weiteres Jahr verlängern. He seemed to be a popular whipping boy for a number of posters during our ill-fated WCQ last time around, so hopefully he establishes himself in the Bochum first team as well as re-establishing himself in the MNT squad.
