Guest Jeffery S.
quote:Originally posted by Winnipeg Fury Hello Mr Occean, this is Ajax calling....... Good news. He was on the radar of Roda, and Genk in Belgium were also looking at him. His scoring rate is excellent and he gets them in critical moments. I think he is better than Gerba, in spite of Ali's good work these days. Ajax would be amazing, wonder who they are selling in the striker position. Guest Jeffery S.
Was the 21st, but Tyler Hughes playe 85 as Osters fell to Ljungskile SK in Swedish 2nd tier. They are last in the division, but he is playing regularly. Question: where is Gerba from? Would he be on holiday now and going back to Goteborg to end the season, anyone know? Gian-Luca
Cameroon originally, but came to Montreal at a young age. I am assuming Goteborg will put him out on loan again if they aren't going to give him a chance to play with the first team. His work in the Gold Cup & his goal scoring rate for Canada (since they gave him the 3rd goal against Guatemala, I think he has 5 goals in something like 11 caps for Canada) should give his agent plenty of ammo to get a better job somewhere. He also seemed to do well on loan in Denmark, but apparently Horsens didn't want to pay as high of a price tag for him as Goteborg was asking for. Goteborg are 6th after 11 games, and only +3 GF/GA, but the offense is okay, second in the league. Their defence is not solid. Maybe they'd want Gerba to help break those ties they are giving up, or maybe they are thinking defense and will loan him out again. Goteborg have the league's leading scorer in Marcus Berg, with 7 so far, one penalty. Next has just two. Not sure what they will do.
Grizzly
I think Gerba had a poor relationship with Goteborg's management which is why they are trying to transfer him. I wouldn't be surprised if they loan him out again.
Guest Jeffery S.
Lars played the whole thing, inc extra time, as Rosenborg could only beat Skeid in the Norway Cup with post reg time goals, 0-2. Same competition Lillestrom beats Baerum 4-0, Occean on for 90 and those around him scored.
