Bertuzzi44
Wednesday's match is at 6pm Vancouver time, correct? I might be able to make that one, but I wouldn't be able to make the saturday game. hopefully you get a nice sized group BWA.
youllneverwalkalone
Not sure if there's a hockey conflict, but the Dover Arms would likely show both TFC and the Gold Cup regardless. It's a bit out of the way though.
pulsar
I am off work that night and the dover arms is right where i live....count me in
Blue and White Army
Yeah, I might be up for both matches on Wednesday: 4pm - TFC vs. New York Red Bulls 6pm - Canada vs. Costa Rica Dover Arms sounds good. I'll ring them and see if they'll play 'em.
Blue and White Army
Some confused woman at the Dover Arms said that the hockey will be on the big screen, and the soccer will be punted onto the smaller screens (with the sound muted). Any other ideas?

youllneverwalkalone
That will be a common problem. I thought the DA was pretty football friendly. Anybody feel like giving the Portuguese Club a ring? I would but Portuguese people have a genetic predisposition to hate me. It's true. Joe's is perhaps even a better choice, but no liquor.

pulsar
there is 72....it's the old mahony's on robson. Every booth has a tv in it. service sucks, chix are hot and the prices are....well.....effin' downtown prices. Or Nazz, what's that bar across from North American sports on boundary and hastings? You know guys, i have been bartender a long time and am looking at spots to open. Ideally if the new stadium goes in, a spot in Gastown would be great. Call it "1979"; after the NASL championship season from the 'caps...any investors? There we could watch anything we want and not have to worry about a "who cares" hockey game and have soccer turned off in a corner of a bar. I am just wondering if i could afford a weeks rent in gastown.
