Winnipeg Fury
Inverness Caley end season with rare away win By Kenny MacDonald GLASGOW, May 19 (Reuters) - Inverness Caledonian Thistle beat St Mirren 1-0 in the Scottish Premier League season on Saturday, a Stuart McCaffrey header sealing their first away league victory this year. McCaffrey back-headed the ball over keeper Chris Smith at the near post after 74 minutes following an angled ball into the box from the left by Richie Hart. Thistle's last away league win was in October at Rangers. Second bottom Saints ended their SPL campaign with 36 points from 38 games while relegated Dunfermline bowed out of the top flight with a 3-0 defeat at Falkirk. They finished bottom with 32 points from 38 games.

JDG goes 90 in a 2-1 Deportivo loss. I think Julian had a poor game. He had a terrible pass intercepted in the first half that almost led to a Sevilla goal, and it was his man that scored on a header for Sevilla's first goal. JDG just let him go. Guest Jeffery S.
quote:Originally posted by torontofc Any idea why Patrice was not in action? Surely against such a weak side they don't need all their starters. But since the rumours are out about a Bernier transfer, he has not been starting league games either. So I think they are getting used to playing without him, without totally devaluing him either.

Right before thees matches were played, it was said in the press that AC Horsens woundnt sign Gerba this summer, unless IFK Göteborg, who owens Gerba, are lowering the price. Unfortunatly nobody knows the original price...
CDN4EVR
quote:Originally posted by Sigma Hainault stayed on the bench as SIAD Most tied 1-1 against Mlada Boleslav. The tie means Mlada Boleslav no longer has a chance to get one of the two champions league spots for next season. Williams played the entire game for SK Kladno as they lost 1-0 away to Brno. He picked up a yellow card in the 29th minute. Looks like Hainault played for SIAD Most "B" in a 3-0 victory over Litvínov in divizie B (one of the Czech regional 4th divisions). It was an important win for SIAD Most "B" as they are facing relegation to the Prebory (regional fifth divisions). Andrew told me he had been bugging the club to let him play with the B-team so he could get some game time in. They also won 3-1 yesterday in another game he played with them and told me he's feeling great and verry much looking forward to play and "hang" with both French and English speaking players for a change of pace. Guest Jeffery S.
On May 23 Tyler Hughes started as an outside back, think he played 90 as Östers took out top flight Orebro in the third round of the Swedish Cup, 3-1. They are into the final 16.
