Juby
Imhof Subbed in at the 69th minute with Bochum leading the current bundesliga leaders 2 - 1. edit: the current bundesliga leaders are Schalke 04 [:I] re read and noticed the gaff
Juby
Bochum win a very important match against leaders Schalke, as far as I can tell from the espnsoccernet game cast Imhof nearly sent a successful through ball. Although he came on after the scoring ended, the intensity of bochum seemed to increase, bochum nearly doubled their shots on goal in the last 20 minutes. JamesW
Iain Hume starts for Leicester. Right now it is 0-0 versus Barnsley. 16th minute. Ipswich Town are down 1-0 in the 16th minute as well. Jamie Peters is in the starting 11.
Juby
At the half, Simeon Jackson scored a (quote from soccernet.com) "Simeon Jackson scores an impressive goal from the left channel left low with his foot" and by the gamecast map, it has the shot coming from a couple feet outside the corner of the box, around the same spot Lahm scored in the world cup, very different shots of course. This goal tied the game for Rushden against Burton. Ross Smith has also scored in the first half of gravesend and northfleets game against Dag&red on a header a little closer then the penalty spot which had tied it up at 1-1 but Dag has since regained their lead. Juby
Rushden ends up winning 2-1 and Gravesend and Northfleet lose 2-1. Richard Hastings played the full 90 in what ended a 1-1 draw between Inverness and Dundee, a rather surprising finish because Dundee dominated until well into the second half. Keegan Ayre was on the bench for hibs as the tied Rangers in high scoring 3-3 draw
Guest Can. in UK
Kevin Harmse scored the winning goal for LA in their defeat of Chivas. He played 75 minutes. Jazic went 90 minutes. Congrat to Kevin on his first goal in the MLS. Highlight available on the MLS site.
loyola
Gerba scored for AC Horsens, they're leading 3-2 with 10 mon to go. Wagenaar on the bench for Den Haag last game. They lost 3-2.
jonovision
Some results from the final day of regular season play in Holland (playoffs for promotion/relegation and European qualifying spots are upcoming): Will Johnson entered in the 79th minute for SC Heerenveen who beat Feyenoord Rotterdam and possible Canadian Jonathan de Guzman 5-1. Will entered with the score at 4-1. 4 of Heerenveen's 5 goals were scored by better-than-goal-a-game man Alves. Rob Friend played 90 minutes and earned a yellow card for his trouble as his side Heracles Almelo were beaten 7-0 by Roda JC. This was likely the last game at Almelo for Friend, whose loan deal is up at the end of the season. Heracles earned enough points to stay in the Eredivisie for next season. Marcel de Jong stayed on the bench for the Kerkrade side. As loyola mentioned, Wagenaar was on the bench for ADO Den Haag, runaway losers of the league. PSV won the Eredivisie with Ajax second as AZ shat the bed with an easy chance to win the league with a match against Excelsior Rotterdam. PSV 34 75 Ajax 34 75 AZ 34 72 FC Twente 34 66 sc Heerenveen 34 55 Roda JC 34 54 Feyenoord 34 53 FC Groningen 34 51 FC Utrecht 34 48 NEC 34 44 NAC Breda 34 43 Vitesse 34 38 Sparta Rotterdam 34 37 Heracles Almelo 34 32 Willem II 34 31 Excelsior 34 30 RKC Waalwijk 34 27 ADO Den Haag 34

jonovision
I don't know well enough myself to try to explain it, but basically everyone from 2nd to 9th has a shot at a Champions League qualification spot and the 2nd and 3rd last placed teams have a chance to stay up. Check this out, it explains things much better: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eredivisie
Juby
the chart on soccernet.com is a great visual aid to figure it out and see the current table all at once and theirs an explanation in the footnotes. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/tables?league=ned.1&cc=5901

Guest Jeffery S.
Radz played 90 as Fulham fell to Arsenal with two late goals making it 3-1. Fulham is now insisting on being a relegation candidate after playing okay for the whole year.

In the spirit of pointing out the good and the bad, Harmse was largely to blame for the Chivas goal after completely whiffing on a clearance attempt. He looked good in the other highlights, though, and the goal in particular, teaming up nicely with Jazic and Donovan.
Guest Jeffery S.
In Norway, Lars played 90 as Rosenborg beat Brann, who are leading the league, 3-0. Bernier played 90 and Ademolu came on m. 75 as Tromso lost 2-1 to Sandefjord. Felix Brilliant played the last 17 min of the game (sorry but my Norwegian reports say how many minutes they played, no the time they came in) for Sparta in 2nd tier, who lost to Bryne 3-1. I did not see Grande for Viking. Occean and Lillestrom play today. In Sweden Rosenlund was subbed out m. 11 for Ativabergs away to Orgryte, which doesn't look good, can't figure out if he was injured though. Ended scoreless. Tyler Hughes seems to have played 90 for Östers on the outside of the defence as they drew away to Falkenbergs. All Swedish 2nd tier. In Denmark Issey played 76 in the right midfield as Vejle fell away to Alborg. Hutch played 90 on the left midfield as Copenhagen beat Silkeborg 0-1. By my calculations, with 6 games left and a 16 pt advantage, a win next match gives them the title. (EDIT) Julian did indeed play for Deportivo, came on in m. 80 in a scoreless away draw at Santander; previously I had him not starting but my source was wrong. They are now 6 points off the 7th spot, which would give them a UEFA berth considering the Cup berth will be freed up, with Sevilla and Barça sure to meet. This could alter the team's end of season perspective if they can win the next few. Since maybe 8 or 9 could go to Intertoto if they are game. Aguiar did not dress for Gondomar, who beat Trofense 1-0. Too late, the promotion slots are pretty well decided. I did not see that Bras dressed for his Pamphilhosa.
