Mighty_TorontoFC
I for one would like MLS to have cold weather cities start the season in California,Texas and with luck Florida. Seeing some of the early games played in the chilly weather and the attendance drop off due to the cold, this must be on the mind of MLS>
argh1
Wow, MLS must have the same schedulers as MLB. It was just a few weeks ago that Cleveland Indians moved a home game to Milwaukee because of weather. I believe I heard all tickets were $25. Scheduling out of doors games in April early May in games close to the 49th is always iffy. No matter the sport. I agree keep games in the south untill the May Run weekend at least. Who wants to play in Texas in July, 35 degrees with a 125% humidity..it'll even out.
jpg75
But then people will continue to start petitions to have road games moved closer to home

Loud Mouth Soup
quote:Originally posted by Mighty_TorontoFC It's pretty chilly right now!!! If that's too cold for you out there, you need to move a lot further south. It's fine. And hey-let's just ignore the warm weather of the past week, huh? argh1
quote:Originally posted by Mighty_TorontoFC It's pretty chilly right now!!! Probably better than Aberdeen in February. Come to think of it 35 degrees and 125% humidity might also describe Toronto or Chicago or New York in mid July []

VPjr
All the European leagues play in the winter...what are people complaining about when it was 10 or 12 deg. on Saturday. I've watched premiership matches where gametime temp was 2 or 3 deg. and it's raining. I guess people will also complain in August when its 33 degress and 100% humidity.
