fishman
The ASA has unceremoniously dumped its latest Executive Director. Since the departure of long-time Exec. Dir. Gary Sampley in 2003, the Provincial association has seen four people paraded through the post, including three that have each lasted less than a year. Additionally, since 2004, the ASA has not been able to have a full-time Provincial Coach in the South (the most recent person left within three months of starting), nor have they been able to fill their long-open Technical Director position (the individual hired left after about a month into his contract). The technical side of operations had been staffed by three full-time people; now, only one person is employed full-time as a staff coach. Just as with administration, the technical side has been a revolving door. Hardly the kind of stability one would expect.
