That would be another good opponent for Canada a few days before the GC.

This is an essential friendly for preparation with a new coach, but even then the Gold Cup squad will already have been picked so I hope the new coach is well-informed about all of our potential options and has a couple of busy months scouting our players......

I'd assume that Stephen Hart would be kept on as assistant coach, and would essentially choose the GC roster for the new coach (Simoes?).

This is a great potential friendly for Canada, as Honduras is yet another country that we'll be competing with come WCQ time.

I'm expecting the new coach to pick his own squad. If he's hired by next week, that gives him plenty of time to look at tapes, and find out what he can about our players.
