Ceres
quote:Originally posted by sloth8 Thanks for all the info. It is great to get the news out of Denmark. I lived in Arhus for a few months and like to keep up on the football scene there (especially with how well Hutch is doing). By the way, do you name yourself after the excellent beer that they brew in Arhus? Yes, I live in Aarhus and support AGF. Ceres is the big brewery in Aarhus in the same way as Carlsberg is the big brewery in Copenhagen and while Carlsberg is the big sponsor of FCK, then Ceres and Royal Unibrew is the big sponsor of AGF Aarhus... and then ofcause Ceres is closely connected to being an AGF fan. You will simply never see a real AGF supporter drinking Carlsberg .. http://www.royalunibrew.com/Default.aspx?ID=246&PageNum=4 http://www.ceres.dk/Default.aspx?ID=3 . Ceres
quote:Originally posted by jonovision In Royal League action today, Atiba Hutchinson played 90 minutes as FC Copenhagen beat his old team Helsingborgs IF 3-1. Royal League 2006/07, Semifinals: Semifinals, March 8 : FC København (Den) v Helsingborgs IF (Swe) 3-1 1-0 Fredrik Berglund 5' 2-0 Fredrik Berglund 15' 2-1 Andreas Jakobsson 19' Ailton Almeida,FCK miss penalty 3-1 Ailton Almeida 32' Red card: Adama Tamboura,HIF 66' Attendance: 6,642 A good entertaining first 45 minutes and some nice goals, though it never seemed like FCK were doing more than the absolut minimum to win, so the quality of this match dropped quite alot after the 3rd FCK goal. All-in-all a fully deserved win, but to be honest not all that great a match. Atiba Hutchinson look very good in central midfield and as a winger when FCK are attacking, but the past games he has shown that he does not look sharp enough when he is used as a forward. He was also a bit involved in the Helsingborg goal, so I guess it is safe to say that Atiba is at his best when he is used as an attacking midfielder. A few Highlights : Link or Link 2 ---- Brøndby (Den) v OB Odense (Den) 1-1 (2-1 AET) 0-1 Owngoal 66' 1-1 Per Nielsen 78' 2-1 Martin Ericsson 104' Attendance: 10,732 Though it was not all that well played, this semifinal was a good and very tough high intensity cup fight, with Brøndby dominating for the most part against a somewhat injury-plagued and in the end also rather tired looking OB Odense team. OB have had a very tough schedule so far this season and perhaps the tough RL quarterfinal match against Lillestrøm plus yet another tough RL match going into extra time, was just that bit too much for this team to handle. A few Highlights : Link or Link 2 --- RL final to be played at Brøndby Stadium March 15: Brøndby (Den) v FC København (Den) .
