Grizzly
Still rumours that DeGuzman will be transferring from Deportivo in the winter break. He states that he is at the prime age for a soccer player and can not be sitting on the bench. The teams he has been connected to are Moenchengladbach, Hannover and Stuttgart in Germany and Charlton and Sheffield United in EPL. He has a young daughter who lives with his ex-girlfriend in Hannover which would seem to favour a Bundesliga transfer yet he recently stated to the Spanish press that it is one of his dreams to play in the EPL. You think this would be a permanent transfer or a loan deal?
Grizzly
If it happens I am pretty sure it would be permanent.
Desigol
Maybe he would return to Germany to be with his Daughter. English clubs would now try to avoid players with issues. I worked in the CSA and had to deal with similar cases (can't name names due to Official Secrets Act).
Guest Jeffery S.
I think Julian has a good contract and still at least to 2008 on it. I also think he happens to be pressuring his coach, and since the team is floundering perhaps he will judge over January if he is getting playing time or if it really is time to go. Unless Julian is in Hannover itself or very close, with training six days a week and games he will not have time to travel to see his daughter anyways. So I don't see it as being such a huge factor, unless he feels it does.
