I don't have any breaking news, but I can offer my opinion. Joey Gjertsen is a player I've always liked, and he certainly has a future at a higher level. He is American, so it could make it less appealing for TFC. Adrian Cann is another player that in my opinion proved his worth as a top flight player in this continent. But all the players that may be ready to make the jump, Gjertsen, Cann, Klein, Testo, all are American, and many have tried MLS before. I don't see much of an exodus from the 'Caps, but TFC could do us a big favour by taking Jason Jordan[]
RS
Adrian Cann is Canadian.
Calgary Boomer
Plus, those Whitecaps you mentioned are doing well financially in Vancouver as their top players. On TFC, they'd be down in the bottom half of salary, and they play fewer games than in MLS. So, why leave? They're in a pretty good set-up and on natural grass. bettermirror
Natural grass will not be any kind of deterrent for a North American player - added to this, Whitecaps players specifically won't mind as they train on FieldTurf every day at Simon Fraser University. Forza_Italia
I just saw Adrian Cann play in a money tournement held in woodbridge. He looked good along side with Dave diplacido. The coach of the team was julian de guzman. I mentioned Cann would be a good prospect for the FC before and everyone here laughed at me.
Calgary Boomer
Cann's not ready for MLS yet. He lost his place to a proven MLS player (Ryan Suarez) down the stretch, and only had spot duty in midfield.
Forza_Italia
when he was on the rapids at that time I dont think he was good enough, slowly as he gains experience and to this current point now I would say he is ready.
Calgary Boomer
Disagree. A money tournament where his coach is De Guzman (?) is not representative of what he could do in MLS. He may be good enough one day, but like I said, he fell off badly in mid-season, lost his place and never got it back. He's not good enough right now...so I guess we'll all continue to laugh at you until he is.
Forza_Italia
I didnt know that only your opinion mattered in football. People who laugh at other people may do so because they have nothing to show for themselves.. what team do you play on?
Calgary Boomer
As a matter of fact, I play division 1 in Vancouver and hold a "B" coaching license. I watched every Whitecaps home game last year. People laugh at others when they make silly observations based on one game...
Winnipeg Fury
Easy boys, no reason to turn this into something personal. We are all on the same team, right.

Ha Ha I also grew up with Adrian and played soccer with him for half his career so I know him a heck of a lot more than you. and its not just my opinion Julian de Guzman who I also played with put that team together because it was his opinon that those players he chose had talent, including dave diplacido who your probably going to tell me is garbage too
