My name's J-P, i'm from Toronto, 31 years old and playing soccer since i was 6. Back then i was at good 'ol East York SC. Anyways, thought it might be a good thread topic to list off the times you've seen Canada play live. I've never seen a NT game in person since they rarely played in Quebec. I was suppose to go to the Jamaica game in september but had a playoff game so I ddin't make it to MTL. I'm planning to go to Toronto for the U-20 oponer if single tickets can be purchase. Also if they play exhibition in Quebec (rumour about a Mexico vs Canada in Sherbrooke) I might attend it. Cheeta Posted December 8, 2006 Share Posted December 8, 2006 Topic comes up every so often but is always fun. All the Pan-Am fixtures at Winnipeg Soccer Complex in '99. Was an U23 tourny more or less if I remember correctly but was exciting football (for me at least) all the same. Couple of matchs @ WSC in '00. Friendly vs Hondoras and a WCQ against Cuba (see Jonovision above). Missed the Panama fixture later that year. Boooo! And lastly the Gold Cup matchs @ QuestField last summer. Costa Rica and USA losses. Double Boooo!!! Will be in Edmonton next summer so that's +2 matchs (even if it is WYC) and will follow the team for it's round of 16 fixture from there. Tickets or no! I think I have only seen two. A friendly vs. Peru in Vancouver, think that was around 84 (could look it up, was a scoreless draw if I recall correctly), and the last Spain-Canada friendly in Santander, September 2005, 2-1. I was at the game and it was the first time I saw our national team play. That incident and my disappointment at the result made it the most memorable MNT match I've seen.
