Will Johnson plays 90 minutes in a Heerenveen reserves match against Heracles Almelo reserves, and sets up the second goal in a 2-0 win. Things are going much better for Heerenveen reserves, who are several points clear at the top of the reserve rankings, than for the senior side. Johnson also figures more prominently with Jong Heerenveen than Friend currently with the full side.

Leicester City got beat up pretty bad today against Norwich City. They lost 3-1. This is pretty much it for any hopes people may have had about them moving up. You go ahead in the 23rd minute and can not win a game you need to. Not good.

Hume got subbed out in the 81st.

Here's the line up for the reserves game between ADO den Haag and Cambuur. ADO won 2-0 and Wagenaar got the shutout but most interestingly, Brandon Bonifacio played the whole game for Cambuur.

Opstellingen:

Jong Cambuur: Van der Vlag; Krijger, De Boer, Westra (78. Scheer), Dijkstra; Bonifacio; Hoen, Imac; Francisco, Hashemi (78. Reinders), Karim (70. Oosterling).

Jong ADO Den Haag; Wagenaar; Rijaard, Martha, Arends (55. El Kadi), R. Jong; Riedewald (87. Fernandez), El Moussaoui, Immers (82. Mokomba), Stoffels; Elia, Coster.

By the way, I don't think anyone realistically had hopes of Leicester moving up this year.

You got to be joking me! They have a Canadian, they can beat anyone.;)

Anyways, Ipswich is playing today, do you think they have a shot at moving up?

And now Will has joined Rob on the Heerenveen bench. He's there for today's game against Vitesse Arnhem. 1-0 Vitesse so far.

Will Johnson makes his Eredivisie debut (I think) stepping on the pitch in the 85th minute with his Heerenveen side leading 3-1 on an Alfonso Alves hat-trick. Rob stays on the bench.

Will Johnson hits the post late in the match.

This guy scores pretty much all their goals.

Congrats to Will, let's hope he'll be on the first team for a while.

If you do not get ESPNU and were hoping to see Rosenlund and/or Proctor play, they are airing the game a second time on ESPN2 on Saturday:

The UCSB/WF match will be broadcast tape delayed Friday night at 11:00 p.m. PST on ESPNU and then again Saturday, Dec. 2 at 11:00 a.m. on ESPN2. Sunday's final will air live on ESPN2 at 12:00 p.m. PST. Rob Stone will be handling the play-by-play, Eric Wynalda will be doing color commentary, and Quint Kessenich will be on the sidelines.

That Fulham-Arsenal match was fantastic. As mentioned, Radz scored to put Fulham up 2-0. It was so similar to his chance against Hungary, but this time he finishes. Beautiful set up from Boa Morte. However, after scoring, his momentum carries him into the advertising board. He crashes into them and stays down (doesn't even get a chance to celebrate his goal). He would continue in the game and suffers a few other hard challenges, drawing 2 yellows on Arsenal players. But I guess he couldn't continue and the change was made at the half.

It really was a great game though. One of the best I have seen all year.

David Edgar might see some action tonight against Eintracht Frankfurt. He was included in the squad and Roeder mentions on the Newcastle official site that he might give 3 or 4 youngsters their first cap. I'm pretty sure there are a total of six players in the squad that have not seen first team action with one of them being the backup to Shay Given.

No official lineups from UEFA yet for the Group H Frankfurt - Newcastle game.

Jonathan de Guzman set to start for Feyenoord as they really need a win today against Nancy to help their chances of advancing from Group E.
