ADO den Haag keeper, Robert Zwinkels had a car accident this week so Wagenaar might start tomorrow against Vitesse. After only 12 games in the season all 3 ADO keepers have been injured....don't know what's going on there.

BTW, good to see Occean scoring in his last 2 games, I hope he find his touch back.

Niggling hamstring left over from last season and now a knee injury picked up a couple of weeks ago. Add Chimbonda and Diesel's in tough. Fitness and timing won't get up to form without playing and doesn't it seem like the season is already half done? So like I wrote, Paul's in tough.

To be fair, 'Spurs are having to deal with a whole wack of walking wounded these days so he might get a chance back in the 1st team if he can put this latest injury behind him quickly enough. Might.

Paul Stalteri has not played a Tottenham game for a while. I'm pretty sure he has an injury. He did not even appear on the sub list for the game against Reading. I'm even suspecting he might be in talks with TorontoFC.

Don't count on Stalteri suiting up for TFC any time this decade. The money in the Premiership is way too good. as is the level of competition. Once Paul's back healthy from an injured knee (3-4 more weeks), he'll be fighting hard to win back his spot in the starting 11.

As one of the other poster's mentioned, Tottenham is featuring a bunch of guys that are banged up right now so if Paul can get fit, it's likely he will get inserted sooner than later.

Alen Marcina Suits up for bottom of table New Zealand Knights who played today in a 2-0 loss in the Australian A-league. Marcina seem to play very well and was the only offensive threat for the team. Few half chances solely created were blocked by keeper vukovic. Marcina goes the entire 90, hopefuly better luck in there next match away to Perth.

DeVos starts, but no Peters on the bench for Ipswich who's leading Norwich 2-1 in the 85th minute.

Rosenborg is playing a Royal League game against Helsingborg, don't know if we'll see Lars.

Miedz lost 3-1 today in the Polsh 2nd division, don't know if our former U20 keeper Zarzycki played.

Ajax falters in pursuit of PSV in Dutch League

November 19, 2006

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (Ticker) - Ajax missed the chance to close the gap on Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven to a single point on a day marred by crowd violence in Holland.

The Amsterdammers were held to a 1-1 draw at home to FC Twente - Wesley Sneijder cancelling out Orlando Engelaar's early strike - but the real story came in The Hague when fans of the home club, ADO Den Haag, invaded the pitch and forced the abandonment of the match against Vitesse Arnhem.

Vitesse were 3-0 up when, in the the 66th minute, around 100 supporters came on the playing surface and, despite protests from Den Haag players for them to leave, the situation remained the same, forcing referee Ruud Bossen to call a halt to proceedings.

The match started badly for the hosts when they had Pascal Bosschaart sent off after 13 minutes and Vitesse took full advantage, scoring through Danko Lazovic, Anduele Prijor and Etienne Esajas.

FC Groningen thrashed Willem II 4-1 - Erik Nevland scoring twice - while goals from Ricky Kruys and Gregoor van Dijk scored as FC Utrecht beat Roda JC 2-0.

Defending champions PSV were 4-0 winners against Excelsior on Saturday. Arouna Kone, Alex, Jefferson Farfan and Carlos Salcido were all on the scoresheet at the Philips Stadion.

Ronald Koeman's men are are now unbeaten in their last 17 games, with their last defeat coming in a 1-0 loss at FC Twente, way back in August.

Elsewhere, Nicky Hofs' goal nine minutes from time saw Feyenoord claim a 3-2 win against a determined AZ Alkmaar team, who twice fought back from a goal down before eventually losing out.

The Rotterdam giants, who started the day six points behind their opponents, went ahead through Hofs in the 29th minute, but the lead lasted just three minutes before Demy de Zeeuw levelled.

Timothy Derijck restored the hosts' advantage 12 minutes after the interval but again they couldn't hold on and Danny Koevermans (74) equalised.

However, when Erwin Koeman's side edged their noses in front for a third time through Hofs, there was no time for AZ to come back.

In Nijmegen, Sparta Rotterdam held off a spirited fightback by home team, NEC, to claim their first away win of the season and lift themselves out of the bottom two for the first time this term.

Strikes by Jeffrey Vlug and Yuri Rose gave the visitors a two-goal cushion by the hour mark but Romano Denneboom halved the deficit for NEC with 13 minutes remaining, setting up a tense finale.

However, they could not find an equaliser, their frustration boiling over in stoppage when Jonas Olsson saw red.

Sparta have now won three of their last four games, moving above RKC Waalwijk and ADO Den Haag, while NEC remain in 14th place, two points above the Rotterdammers.

Heerenveen were 2-0 victors against struggling RKC in Waalwijk.

Lasse Nilsson and Afonso Alves struck for the visitors early on as Gertjan Verbeek's team climbed up to seventh place on 20 points.

On the television broadcast, they said that Radz was not in the starting lineup because of "fatigue after a mid-week friendly".

Fatigue may be plaguing Nsaliwa as well as he did not see any action today in Panionios' 2-0 loss at home to Xanthi.

Nice to see that the one match Nsaliwa misses, Panionios loses to a club that now passes them in the standings. [8D]

Does anyone know if Wagenaar is to blame for the last two goals?

The video has been posted, you can take a look, the first goal was the PK, the second is a shot at point blank and the third is a deflected shot. He wasn't to be blame for the last 2 goals IMO.
