denis
Hume should start against Hungary. He has been scoring for club more than our other strikers as of late.
Cheeta
Rhian Dodds starts and plays 70 for Kilmarnock before being sub’d out for Simon Ford. Dundee United immediately score and go on to win 1-nil at Tannadice. Not a good afternoon for the visiting clubs as Inverness Caley Thistle were off to Easter Road. Richard Hastings goes the 90 but Hibs take the max. points defeating the northern club 2-nil. ICT finishing the match with 10 men as their ‘keep was sent off in the 81st with Hibs scoring on the subsequent penalty. Fulham get an away point at Fratton Park as they manage a 1-1 draw against Portsmouth. Radz goes another 90. Zat Knight with Fulham's goal. As mentioned Hume netted as Leicester hosted Plymouth Argyle and played out the duration even as Plymouth snatch a draw in injury time. 2-2 at The Walkers. Damn. JDV goes 90 as Ipswich struggle along and lose at home 0-2 against Sheffield Wednesday. Ug. Peters dressed but stays on the bench. Ipswich are in 17th and Leicester 14th currently. Had Leicester been able to hold on to their 2-1 lead they’d have progressed into the top 10 on the table. Big Kev McKenna goes 90, as per usual, as Cottbus draw Wolfburg nil-nil away. Cottbus sit 10th, just back of Wolfsburg in a very tight middle third of the Bungesliga table.
Metro
Tam played 90 today in a 1-1 draw away to Ionikos. Nsaliwa had a midfield role today and helped produce a couple of scoring opportunities for Panionios, including one in the 74th where he found himself alone with the keeper, shooting the ball just wide. Guest Jeffery S.
De Guzman was on the bench, good sign, but did not play as Depor could only draw away scoreless in Tarragona. Depor has now fallen out of UEFA positions. Atiba played 90 as Copenhagen beat AaB away, 0-1, while Issey Farran also got in a whole game as his Vejle lost away to Esbjerg by the same score. Copenhagen still leads in Denmark, while Vejle is last now 8 points off avoiding relegation. At least the team is very competitive lately, not getting blown out nor apparently being totally out played. But they need points.
BrennanFan
Derosario, Onstad go the distance in the MLS Final, which went to penalties. Serioux was subbed off in extra time. Derosario converted from the spot, and Onstad made a huge save on the last penalty to win it for Houston. an excellent showing by the 3 Canadians, especially, in my opinion, Serioux, who played defensive mid, and was excellent in his role, and was also quite positive moving forward. rednwhite
Ademolu to leave Tromsø? Well according to himself he wants to leave Tromsø because he don't get to play his favorite position as a striker. Ademolu has been in and out, mostly out, of the team this season but has had some games as a right winger, and some as a left winger in the second part of the season. He is also complaining about the weather... His former club Trelleborg see him as a dream signing and are ready to go into negotiations with Tromsø. mjoni
To get the rumour mill going...Patrice Bernier is going to visit Rob Friend after the Hungary game. The quote comes from an article about Patrice saying "no" to Start, and translates directly as, "the Canadian will play an international friendly against Hungary, before he heads off to visit fellow Canadian and ex-Molde forward Rob Friend in Amsterdam. After that he starts his holidays." 1.Are Patrice and Rob buddies from way back in the division 1 days? Maybe. 2.Does Rob Friend live in Amsterdam? Probably not. But Ajax lives there. 3.Why do Patrice's holidays start only after he visits the Netherlands? Because he's trying out for Ajax. 4.Or, Rob Friend is picking him up in Amsterdam and then taking him up to Heerenveen for a trial.

Good for Canada and Patrice, not much for their Norwegian clubs. I do like these rumours ...

mjoni
Wil Johnson scores a hattrick in the 2nd half to lead the Heerenveen reserves to a 1-3 victory over ADO Den Haag (part of the reserve league cup tournament). Wil's second goal was described as a "fantastic" lob from 25 metres. http://www.sc-heerenveen.nl/web/show/id=42457/contentid=4105

analyst
Rob Sing started and played 77 minutes for Yverdon in a 5-2 loss to FC Zurich in Division 2 in Switzerland. Sing has earned a regular starting midfield spot for Yverdon. Yverdon is starting two other 20 year olds regularly, and no players under 20 years of age. El Hombre
Marcel De Jong is once again in the Holland U21 side. Currently on the bench with England up 1-0 at the half. Pretty soon De Jong news will be relegated to the "World Soccer" forum. Too bad.
hottoddy7
Is Will Johnson the best player in the Dutch reserve competition? He seems to score in every appearance and does so from midfield. More than one multiple goal match as well I believe.
