Trois-Rivière to PDL

According to Phillipe Germain of XM radio, an Impact director mentioned that Trois-Rivières would be playing in the PDL next season.

Expect them to be in the New England division with Ottawa, Vermont, Cape Cod, Albany and Rhode Island.

Laval Dynamites (CSL) to move to PDL?

Somebody posted Laval will move to PDL. Don't know how credibile, if at all. But there's a couple other posts saying Laval among others will leave the CSL next season.

Also, didn't some article say there was going to be a "Montreal area" PDL team? I don't think anybody considers Trois-Riviere "Montreal area" do they?

So could there be 2 teams? It would make more sense I guess. Although it's too bad these teams don't do what's good for Canadian soccer and join the CSL. There's no reason the PDL should exist in Canada. What's the point of the Lynx joining the PDL?

Have to disagree with you on that what other option is there for Thunder Bay Juventus/Chill for example? There is no way they can realistically play in the CSL unless a bunch of top Winnipeg teams decide to do it as well and formed a new regional division and that appears to be a total non-starter. There are plenty of Canadian kids with NCAA scholarships so there is a definite niche for PDL IMO.

Right now the worse thing for canadian soccer is the csl.The league is doing more harm then good.There is alot of good reason for canadians teams in the pdl.

1)There are plenty of ncaa players in canada and they can not play in the csl.

2)The usl is a league that knows what there doing they have the cash to add.

3)Teams on the a-league perfer to have there so called feeder teams in the usl pdl then other leagues.
