canso
"It is the person who called him and put him on the field taking off one of our few dangerous players in the process who should be blamed" exactly! I don't hate Corazzin the man, but Corazzin the substitution. He represents everything that was wrong about Yallop, but the way Mitchell handled Hume at that some moment is indicative of everything that is good about Mitchell. Admittedly, he gets the job more by default, but I am very confident he will prove his quality! Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. But we won't get fooled again! Chet
I don't get it. If the CSA has already decided Mitchell's the guy, then why would they have appointed a caretaker. If they're worried about disrupting preparation for the WYC by announcing Mitchell now, then why delay that announcement only to make it a mere 5 1/2 months before the tournament. This makes no sense to me. If they were going to hire Mitchell they would have either announced it now or they'd have given Hart a full-year contract through to the end of July. I'm not saying Mitchell won't be new coach. I just don't think the CSA has made up its mind that he will be. Hart's appointment, to me, suggests that they're hoping to get more applicants. That, in turn, implies that they're not entirely satisfied with the candidates they have so far. Including Mitchell.
