Elliott Godfrey seems to be back with Hampton & Richmond Borough FC in the Ryman Isthmian League Premier Division, as he was spotted at training yesterday.

During the off-season, he was rumoured to be making a move two divisions upward to the Nationwide Conference.

Post Match Magic

By Aston - July 8 2006

Town manager Jim Magilton is mostly pleased with what he saw during Town’s 1-1 draw with Boston earlier today.

Jim: “It was a good exercise for us and the first 45 minutes was very pleasing, Gavin Williams did terrific in the middle of the park and I was really pleased with his all-round game.

“Fozzie was busy up front, Jaime Peters and Dean Bowditch also did well and although we switched off a little after the break, we still had enough chances to have scored four or five.

“Credit to Boston though. Their lads kept going until the end and had a right go.”

Hume played the second half in a 4-1 win against Boston United. He scored the third in the 87th minute with a 30-yard swerving "wonder goal".

Peters played the first 64 in a 2-0 win against Galway United.

Highlights:

In the 33rd minute Jason De Vos had a goal disallowed for pushing after he had headed a Jaime Peters cross into the net at the far post.

Five minutes after the break De Vos head a header cleared off the line, not long before Nicky Forster nodded a Jaime Peters cross wide.

I heard that 19 year old Rob Sing's agent has gotten him a trial in Moscow. Can anyone provide more details.

I also heard that 17 year old Vladimir Vukovic had a trial at Sochaux and was offered a spot, but turned it down. Instead he has signed with OFK Belgrade.
