TOareaFan
For those of you who did not join the Toronto FC club (the one that gives advance notice and opportunity for WYC tickets) the club priority ordering time is now in effect (until July 12) and this should give you some idea of when tickets for the WYC will become available and at what price. Here are some excerpts from the information that was sent to members of Toronto FC: Here in Toronto there will be 13 games played over 9 events (there are 4 double headers). Toronto FC Members have the first opportunity to purchase packages ahead of the General Public. There are 5 different packages designed to give options based on the type of games you might want. If you want it all, go straight to Pack E! Pack A - Opening Ceremonies and Group Matches Includes Events 1, 2, 3, 4 Pack B - Opening Ceremonies, Group Matches, and the FINAL Includes Events 1, 2, 3, 4, 9 Pack C - Opening Ceremonies, Elimination Playoff Games Includes Events 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 Pack D - Opening Ceremonies, Elimination Playoff Games, and the FINAL Includes Events 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Pack E - ALL TORONTO EVENTS Includes All Toronto-Based Events Aside from varying packs, there are also different price structures: Package <div align="right">A B C D E </div id="right">Midfield Seats Lower <div align="right">$185 $285 $310 $410 $515 </div id="right"> Field Level Side and Midfield Upper <div align="right">$135 $210 $230 $305 $380</div id="right"> Field level corner side, Half field upper <div align="right">$95 $145 $180 $230 $275 </div id="right">Corners and Endzone <div align="right">$70 $110 $130 $170 $200 </div id="right"> So seeing every game in Toronto will cost between $200 and $515 per ticket...assuming the sale to the general public is at the same prices. PaulV
Interesting. Has anyone seen any information on packages for other cities?

I would imagine those will come out at the same time as the Toronto packages go on general sale. I believe that Toronto FC were the only people who put together membership situation which gave those that paid "first crack" at tix.
Cheeta
Hey, $200 to sit behind the net for all events. Geezus, not bad. Make for a nice bit of a holiday next summer.

Come to Section 115 (behind the south goal). That's likely where the Canadian support will be concentrated.

Can we advertise this on the board somehow. If tickets are going on sale on the 15th the Voyageurs that want to be together should take this into consideration before purchasing their tickets. A lot of the TFC members from the U-Sector will be buying in that section before the general public.

The TFC order form that I filled in does not allow for selection of "section" only category of ticket. Didn't bother me as I don't like watching matches from an end seat so I was always going to buy midfield tickets. Since end seats are always cheaper and "less desirable" why would you spend the TFC money to get priority access to tickets that are going to be less in demand in the first place? To ensure a solid Canadian section, rather than having Canadian support interpersed throughout the crowd like usual. People are free to buy tickets whereever they please, but if you're interested in joining the concentrated Canadian support, that's where we'll be. And yes, you cannot (at the moment) purchase for specific sections, but Section 115 falls under the Corners and Endzones category, so everyone who is joining us is asked to purchase tickets in that category. We can work out the specific section details later.
RS
I explain it more in the following post: http://s15.invisionfree.com/U_Sector/index.php?showtopic=

Only my strong preference for mid-field stops me from joining that crowd. I just don't see the need to pre-pay a sum of money (TFC fee) for seats that will be readily available in general sale later. Put another way, if all I wanted was end seats, I would not have joined TFC.

I know....I was just wondering why some people who planned to sit there would be TFC members at all? Your earlier comment "A lot of the TFC members from the U-Sector will be buying in that section before the general public." is what got me thinking about it. Bill Spiers
And OSA members also get an opportunity to order tickets before they go on sale to the general public. They will also have group sales for single games available.
