Guest speedmonk42
It is a canadian production, somewhat about this Canadian guy that got involved in this sport like 20 years ago. Watch enough of it to see the 'princess' of the game. I think I might go blind. If this does not work search for Extreme Soccer Skills on google video http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6050883803862208942&q=soccer+skills www.mysticball-themovie.com
The Ref
The thing is, can they play the game.

Guest speedmonk42
The only soccer thing about it is the ball. But they do some pretty nifty stuff.
Soju
The ball in those clips is just painted up to resemble a small soccer ball, which takes away from the "mystic" feel in my opinion and must be a modern trend? Those balls look very similar to the takraw balls used in Thailand woven from bamboo. Takraw and Chinlone look a bit similar in the movements, though Takraw is a net sport such as badminton in which points are kept where Chinlone looks like more of a dance contest. The director says it's not competitive, though I see he also points out certain players are considered the best or better than others so there must be some form of judging being done (hence competition). Looks like an interesting documentary speedmonk I'd like to see it.
Guest speedmonk42
When I first started watching I was wondering if it was Thailand. I was going to ask you about it, but then I came across the mystic website which explained it. They would be an intereting group to have at a half time show.
