A few of our U16's at the Ballymena tournament are playing club soccer in Europe. I don't think they are on the list...

Today is key for Jon Henry-Hayden and Elliot Godfrey. Hampton & Richmond Borough take on Billericay Town in the final game of the Ryman Premier League season. Hampton currently occupy the final play-off spot, three points ahead of Billericay. 'ricay also have a far better goal difference, so just a point would seal the play-offs for Hampton and give them a chance of promotion to the Conference South (Division 6 effectively). Both Henry-Hayden and Godfrey were used as subs in last week's game against Maldon Town and are fit to start today. I'll post an update on here later today.

Thanks for your help promoting the boys at Hampton, PSG. Have you been to a match at the Beveree yet?

...Meanwhile, it has emerged that Jon Henry-Hayden is dual registered with Northwood FC, who play in the Southern League Premier Division (currently in 19th, which may get them relegated). He has already played (at least once) and scored for Northwood Reserves. We may want to add this to the Canucks Abroad list...

No problem, thanks for the link to Radio Jackie! Despite being local, it never really occurred to me that they might carry the game. I haven't been to the Beveree for a few months now but I always look out for H&R and I look for mentions of Godfrey and Henry-Hayden in the local paper we get. I will keep my eyes peeled for any news of both players during play-offs and the off-season and let you know.

  • 3 weeks later...

I went through the Energie Cottbus website and all their Jugend rosters. I could not see Amir Haroon anywhere. Maybe I missed something, but he does not appear to be there any more.

Marinko Maras was on Kaiserslautern's U17 roster.
