Richard
An interesting a quite well written piece from the Guardian Unlimited in the UK about the new Australian A-League, picked up off www.bcsoccerweb.com. http://football.guardian.co.uk/Columnists/Column/0,4284,1681855,00.html?gusrc=rss Shows what can be done when really big money is available. Richard
May be crappy reporting but big money was still spent which was my point. Nobody in their right mind should expect to make money in the first few seasons of a brand new league. MLS has had much more money spent on it and it is still a losing proposition after 10 years. No wonder the CSA has been shy about sponsoring a domestic Canadian league.
