Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell has made an enquiry for a mystery Derby player and Rams chief Phil Brown could be willing to do a deal as long as he can get a player in exchange. "Leeds are interested in one of our players, but we would expect a transfer fee for him," Brown told the Derby Evening Telegraph. "It is up to me to consider whether it is worth pursuing. There are two players at Leeds we are interested in and we will negotiate to see if a deal is possible." Brown rejected reports that Leeds midfielder Sean Gregan was one of the players he was targeting in the swap deal. "We didn't ask about Sean in November and he is not one of the players we are interested in," Brown added.

Peschfan
Stern John had an ineffective loan spell making 8 appearences and scoring no goals, and was not involved for the last month. Pesch was already ahead of him in he pecking order anyway. eTwo more strikers loans end at the end of this month Dexter Blackstock from Southampton and Danny Graham from Boro. that would leave only Marcus Tudgay, Pesch and Dean Holdsworth, on the books. SO they may have to hold onto Pesch if no else is signed or re signed.
