mjoni
Bad news for Klukowski. Looks like something went wrong with his knee at last night's training, and it could be serious. http://www.clubbrugge.be/nieuws/fr/?a=nieuws&id=1004

The exact same term is used in precisely that way in Spanish as well. It is of course Latin.
sstackho
Wanna find out all about the midweek CCC action? No? Well, screw you! - de Vos plays the whole match as Ipswich fall 0-3 to new league leaders Reading. No Peters. Ipswich are 14th. - Hume doesn't make it off the bench as Leicester and Watford draw 2-2. It appears that another striker (Dion Dublin) was brought on instead of Hume. Leicester are 16th. - No Brennan for Norwich (injured? no news found), and Simpson makes it off the bench in the 92nd minute as Millwall defeat Norwich 1-0. Norwich are 15th and Millwall are still bottom (24th). - No Bircham (still injured) as QPR lose 0-2 to Preston. QPR are 13th. - No Pesch (no news found) as Derby defeat Stoke 1-2. Derby are 17th. The midweek matches continue the poor run for Canadians in the CCC from the weekend.

Guest Jeffery S.
Klukowski did not get into the Bruges side that fell to a late Del Piero goal for La Juve in Turin. They look pretty sure to be on their way to the UEFA as third in the group. Would sure be nice to see Rosenborg stay in Europe so that could be an option even before the Norway season starts for Lars.

That is a good point, I hadn't thought of it. Are players tied in UEFA as well? If they are that does take a bit out of the early season at Rosenborg, as he watches his new teammates in at least one home and away, and can't even dress. mjoni
Sandro Grande not in the roster for tonight's Uefa Cup match against Slavia Prague. I was wondering what would happen now that Roy Hodgson is gone and replaced by Tom Prahl (coach of Swedish Malmö FF for the last few years). Unless Grande is injured. Otherwise, hopefully he'll factor in Prahl's plans for the team in the coming season.

It is only a week later, so perhaps he is still carrying the same injury.

Guest Jeffery S.
Paok fall 1-2 in the end. Thunder made 11 saves to Hildebrand's two, but Ljuboja the Serbian striker hit a long one in m. 85, chipping Thunder from afar, one commentator on the radio here thought Daniel could have been out of position on, at least he was too far off his line they said. We'll have to see it to judge it. The second Stuttgart goal came in m 90 after a foul in the box, penalty taken by Ljuboja. Sound like Stuttgart outplayed Paok and Daniel at least kept them in it until the last 5 minutes. By the way, of course he speaks Portuguese, he was in Porto at age 17-18, two years. His Spanish is not that good but he can handle it okay.
Massive Attack
Viking, without Grande, tied Slavia Prague 2-2 in the UEFA Cup today. This leaves Viking with 4 points in 3 games. They will most likely need a victory over CSKA Sofia next week to advance. In the last CanCon UEFA match, about to kick off, Lars and Bernier are set to start for Tromso in their match against Red Star Belgrade. Ademolu is on the bench (all according to skysports)

jonovision
Bernier had a hand in both Tromso goals: (1 - 0) Bernier (Tromsø) scores! Patrice Bernier hits a fantastic volley from fully 20 metres which arrows into the bottom-left corner to put Tromsø IL in front on 22 minutes. (2 - 1) Årst (Tromsø) scores! The ball breaks to Ole Martin Årst as Bernier's cross is only half blocked by Nebojša Joksimovi#263; and he gives Vladimir Stojkovi#263; no chance, drilling high into the net to put Tromsø back in front.
