River City
As discussed in one of the Canadian Soccer League threads many pages ago, here is the CPSL/PCSL rankings. The points were based on 3 for a win, 1 for a draw and -2 for a loss. Because the CPSL plays 22 games and the PCSL plays 16, I divided their points by the number of games they played and multiplied by 100. While I don't necessarily agree with the points system, I do feel this is necessary to increase awareness of the many amateur teams across the country as well as give the Voyageurs some media exposure and hopefully more credibility and pull with the CSA. Yeah!!! I'm hoping for a serious discussion on the points system and one day be as statistically advanced as http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/ COEFFICIENT LEAGUE/CLUB POINTS - W/D/L 204.5454 CPSL - Vaughan Shooters 45 - 16/3/3 200.0000 PCSL - Victoria United 32 - 11/3/2 187.5000 PCSL - Whitecaps Reserves 30 - 10/4/2 177.2727 CPSL - Toronto Croatia 39 - 13/6/3 156.2500 PCSL - Hibernian & Caledonian 25 - 9/4/3 156.2500 PCSL - Fraser Valley Action 25 - 9/4/3 150.0000 PCSL - New Westminster Khalsa 24 - 10/2/4 136.3636 CPSL - Oakville Blue Devils 30 - 10/8/4 125.0000 PCSL - Vancouver Thunderbirds 20 - 8/4/4 113.6363 CPSL - Hamilton Thunder 25 - 9/8/5 90.90909 CPSL - Laval Dynamites 20 - 11/3/8 81.81818 CPSL - Windsor Border Stars 18 - 8/4/10 75.00000 PCSL - Okanagan Challenge 12 - 7/3/6 68.18181 CPSL - Toronto Supra 15 - 7/8/7 36.36363 CPSL - North York Astros 8 - 8/4/10 27.27272 CPSL - St. Catherines 6 - 7/5/10 22.72727 CPSL - Brampton Stallions 5 - 5/8/9 -9.09091 CPSL - London City 2 - 6/4/12 -18.7500 PCSL - Columbus Clan -3 - 4/3/9 -27.2727 PCSL - Surrey United -6 - 4/2/10 -56.2500 PCSL - Penticton Pinnacles -9 - 4,1/11 -118.750 PCSL - Kamloops City -19 - 2/1/13 -131.250 PCSL - Skagit Rapids -21 - 2/1/13 -163.636 CPSL - Durham Storm -36 - 1/1/20 As usual, feel free to let me know of any miscalculations....
