Daniel Fernandes is on the front page of FIFA.com this morning. Check it before it disappears.

Air show in Donetzk: PAOK Salonika goalkeeper Daniel Fernandes shows that he can be cool and collected under pressure even with Donetzk's Ciprian Maica breathing down his neck. The two sides met in the UEFA Cup on Thursday 20 October. Donetzk needed a second half penalty to win the match 1-0, with Brandão the scorer.

AGOVV Apeldorn destroyed Marcel de Jong's Helmond Sport tonight with a 9-1 win in the Dutch Goulden Gids, the 2nd division. Marcel had to wait out the whole 90 on the pitch. Just one goal was on a penalty, and Helmond played with 11 men the whole time. But oddly enough the winners are still quite a few points behind Helmond in the table, in principle an inferior side. And Helmond still has the promotion playoff spots in sight in spite of the whipping.

Kenny went the whole way as Boden lost to Myallby 1-0 in Swedish 2nd division Superettan, and is thus relegated to third tier. I think a draw would have been enough for them. In any case, the team totally collapsed in the last month of the season, and sadly this is Kenny's third season being relegated in a row. So, another team for next year? I don't know if the side he played for before has promoted back up to the 2nd tier or not, think that was Enkopings...

In the top flight, Atiba's Helsingborgs needs a home win vs. Hacken this weekend to sneak into a UEFA spot, think that would also mean a Royal League spot (that Norway-Denmark-Sweden club competition that fills in the off-season).

Over in Norway, watch for the decisive Tromso-Viking match, the former need a point I think to avoid relegation definitively, while Viking still has a chance at grabbing a European cup spot.

Regarding Enkopings, who I think Kenny is still under contract to, on loan to Boden.

They played in the third tier, with 6 Swedish divisions, and won their division. These 6 division winners playoff home-away and the three teams to take the playoff go up to the Superettan. Enkopings drew at home to the men's side of Umea (the Swedish and European women's champs) last weekend 0-0, and they are away this weekend, with a win or I think a draw with goals putting them up the division.

The Swedes are creating a new third tier next year, instead of six divisions there will only be two, north and south, so Enkopings would play there if they don't do the trick this weekend.

By the way, their web is www.esk.nu

What the hell is "nu" in an Url, anyways'

Stalteri went 90 and was carded amidst skirmishes to get one back for Spurs, who ended up drawing Man Utd on a Jenas free kick. Tottenham remain in 2nd spot.

Radz nowhere to be seen for Fulham, who beat Liverpool 2-0.

In the Championship, Bircham subbed out m. 38 (hurt?) as QPR beat Norwich, with Brennan going the whole way, 3-0.

Pesch subbed out m. 76 as Derby fell today 2-1 to Hull City.

Millwall had no Simpson in their 0-2 loss to Southhampton, with ten men for a half, a totally inept team this year.

Leicester, Hume's team, goes tomorrow against Coventry.

Looks good in Norway for Canadians as everybody (except Tromso and Viking) tied today. Molde (Friend) are on the edge but today's results are good.

So with one game left, all the Canadians avoid relegation except Friend who's destiny will be decided by the final game.

Aalesund 1 - 1 Lyn

Bodo/Glimt 1 - 1 Start Kristiansand

Brann Bergen 2 - 2 Odd Grenland

Fredrikstad 1 - 1 Lillestrom

Molde 1 - 1 Ham Kam

Tromso 1 - 0 Viking

Valerenga Oslo 0 - 2 Rosenborg

Fernandes is in goal for Paok who's leading Ionikos 3-1 at the half.

They win in the end 6-1 and go fourth in Greece after 7 games, four points off the leaders. The team is looking strong lately.

Atiba went 90 as Helsingborgs fell at home to Hacken 0-1, end up 6th this year in Sweden. They did not get a single point in the last four games I think. Even a win would not given them a UEFA spot the way the other results went today.

Thinking of Kenny, the team his contract is with, Enkopings, did not succeed in promoting to the Superettan, losing to Umea 2-0, and will play third tier again next year. So Kenny has some choices to make after loaning out this season; I actually doubt they could pay his salary at that level and he'll likely be let go if another team shows interest.

Just a note on Norway: though Molde is not officially out of danger of relegation, they are playing the Norway Cup final vs. Lillestrom, think that must be just after the league ends.

No love lost between LA and San Jose in a nasty game today. Quakes go down 3-1 in the opening leg and will need to win by 2 at home next weekend to advance to the semis. Dwayne had chances but no goals.

It looks as though the saving grace is every team that is chasing Molde will be involved in a fixture against a team that has something to play for. Fredrikstad will be on the road against a team that can clinch the championship and Aalesund will be playing Viking which will be looking to tie-up a spot in Europe.

Regardless, I belive Rob Friend would easily find a new employer should Molde be relegated. He's a proven scorer in the Tippeligaen.

How did McKenna score this time?

A horribly translated description of the goals:

0:1 McKenna (45.) A passport into the depth of Gomez reached Radu, which emerged alone before Ziegler. The FCS Keeper could clarify the shot of the energy energie-Stuermers by foot defense, McKenna drosch the ricochet however into the meshes of the FCS gate.

0:2 McKenna (65.) Against saarbruecker completely moved up a defense konnterte energy over Dworrak, which drove the leather from the center line into the strafraum. There it fit at Pelzer to the rear five-meter-hits a corner past, where McKenna pressed the ball over the line.

1:2 Oertuelue (90.) After file of Thiebaut Oertuelue Piplica umkurvte and could shorten.

1:3 McKenna (90,+2.) Four energy energie-Stuermer faced a saarbruecker defense man. Rust played crosswise over the field to Szelesi, which put down at the strafraum on McKenna. The Canadian obtained his third hit with a platzierten flat shot in for a long time hits a corner.
