beachesl Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 African Nations Cup draw CAIRO, Oct 20 (Reuters) - The draw for the African Nations Cup finals, conducted in Cairo on Thursday: Group A: Egypt (hosts), Ivory Coast, Libya, Morocco Group B: Angola, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Togo Group C: Tunisia (holders), Guinea, South Africa, Zambia Group D: Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Zimbabwe The tournament will be played in Egypt from January 20 to February 10 next year. Togo and Angola are WC bound (will be looking to have a good show) and Cameroon is possibly the best African nation. DR Congo also has some talent with Lua Lua. I don't know, I expected it to be great, but I was disappointed by the matches that were shown on TV here from the last two editions. It should be played every four years, not every two.
