where does the eurolines bus leave from brussels? im in mons (only a 45 min/10 euro train ride from brussels)

i would assume from the airport OR central station?

whats their website?

website: eurolines.com or just google eurolines. As for point of departure, the bus leaves from Brussels North station. But actually, I'll be taking the bus from Leuven, it's more convenient for me as I'm actually in Leuven. There's only one bus going that day, I believe around three. I've never been on Eurolines, but I'm expecting there to be neither full-service bar nor any on-bus food served.

Happy Trails! And if you have any other Q.s, just post them. I'll do my best to respond quickly.

okay marcl_19,here's the skinny.

The good news is that the Bus arrives at Luxembourg train station at 6pm - so here's hoping the match starts later then 7. The bad news is that if you want to catch the bus that leaves on the next day, it leaves at 8am. Ouch!

I've booked already, and if you book now you should get a good rate. Seeing that you're in Mons, it makes more sense for you to take the bus from Brussels North rather then from Liege.

I want to know what the schedules are like for Lux-Esch and back. Because I don't want to book a hostel in Lux to be caught out in Esch after the game...

Is it Esch-Sur-Alzette we're going to? If so, then the train ride is a snappy 22 minutes long.

i don't know if the link will work, but here is a link for nmbs (the belgian railway company):

Last train to luxembourg is at 12 minutes to 12, gee, how synchronous?

Again, I think this is the right Esch. And if not, how many 'Eschs' can a such a small country accommodate?

I haven't booked anything yet, stay wise.

But is it necessary to book though? It's Luxembourg. On a weekday. In November no less. I mean, I could understand hotels requiring a booking for business travellers etc., but would youth hostels be a hotbed of traveller activity in November in Lux.?

Sigh. After over a year at BS, I finally broke down and joined. Now I will get even less work done, sheesh :(

Anyway, I'll be going to the match (along with a couple of non-canadian friends).

Just to be clear, how sure are we that the match won't sellout? Is there no way to buy tickets ahead of time?
