Daniel gave up the first on a "close header", the last on a penalty letting Larisa tie things up. From www.paokfc.gr PAOK and Larisa played a tie at Alkazar Stadium (Larisa), in a friendly game that watched 9.000 football fans, among them many PAOK fans who travelled from Thessaloniki and adjacent cities of Larisa. Just five minutes after the kick off, Gavrilopoulos scored with a close header, after a side cross from Digozis. PAOK equalised in the 12th minute with a shot by Martin Mieciel and took the lead in the 62nd minute after a penalty-goal from Maladenis. Larisa equalised in the last minute of the game, exactly in the same way, with a penalty that converted Hatziliontas. PAOK Fernandes, Udeze, Andralas, Hasiotis, Koutsopoulos, Vangelis, Egomitis, Zografakis, Maladenis, Konstantinidis, Mieciel. Substitutions: Iliadis, Mumin, Sotiroglou, Karalic, Malezas. Massive Attack Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 On Sunday in Italy: Julian Uccello came on in the 73rd minute as Sansovino defeated Forli 1-0 in Serie C2B. Rocco Placentino made his debut for Gualdo as a second half sub in a 3-0 loss to his former team, Cavese in Serie C2B. Less then 24 hours earlier, Rocco made his debut for the MNT against Spain. David Masciantonio played 72 minutes as Monterotondo defeated Tivoli 4-0 in the Coppa Italia Serie D. David opened the scoring in the 11th minute and also received a yellow card. They have signed Arnold Origi, 21 year old keeper for Kenya, who has played all Kenya's WC qualifiers this year. Blue and White Army Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 Hampton & Richmond Borough 3-0 Wealdstone Just got back from the Beveree, where striker Elliott Godfrey scored Hampton's second goal, and striker Jon Henry-Hayden came into the match late as a sub. Hampton's win takes them to a perfect 18 points from 6 matches, top of the Ryman Isthmian League by a six-point lead. The £750,000 signing from Tranmere put in a confident performance in the Leicester attack alongside England Schoolboy international Ashley Chambers. ... Hume came close to breaking the deadlock as halftime approached, skillfully working his way into the penalty area and forcing a great save from Speroni. The Canadian forward's frustration at missing that opportunity was compounded just a minute later as the clock ticked over into injury time, Ryan Hall cutting in from the left wing to hit a low strike into the bottom corner of the net to put Palace ahead at the interval. Blue and White Army Posted September 12, 2005 Share Posted September 12, 2005 Bit late now, but wanted to mention that a photo of Elliott Godfrey scoring Hampton & Richmond Borough's second goal against Wealdstone on Tuesday 6 September appeared in the Friday 9 September edition of the Non-League Paper on page 16. The black and white photos is 16cm by 14cm. I'll put up a scan of it, along with the other pics of Godfrey and Henry-Hayden, one of these years....
