Edit: This is related to the Millwall game yesterday.

Just to clarify, in case there was any confusion...

I was at the game yesterday, and Adrian was in goal for the second half... He looked quite confident, and looked like he was having fun.

The goal wasn't really his fault, a bit of confusion in front of the goal on a corner kick and it was poked in... And he made an amazing save later in the half.

It was just too bad that Serioux didn't start playing in net sooner! ;)

Yeah, I just saw the highlights as well, on ITV's "The Championship". Will be available for download on MaXxed Football Forum later today.

That impressive save was against Leroy Lita, Reading's new star striker that they spent £1million for!

How do you get that forum to work? I signed up and I can't see any threads.

Thanks for the update. We'd love to hear more about how things are going for Josh and Adrian at the club, especially considering all the changes at the club as of late.

Keep us posted!

I didn't see it anywhere on this board: but Will Johnson was sub in at the 78 minutes in Chicago 3-0 lost to Kansas City on friday night.

It seems that Will has been a regular sub for the Fire for a month(since starting and scoring against Colorado), let's hope he'll start a few games until the end of the season.

That was a nice save! Phillips came in for the rest of the first half after the keeper was sent off, and let in 3, including the penalty. Serioux played the whole second half, and only let in one. Maybe Reading had taken their foot off the pedal by that point, but at least it sounds like he was having fun.

Millwall vs Reading Match Report:

American winger Bobby Convey tore Millwall apart at the seams as his first goals for Reading saw Steve Coppell's Royals race to the top of the Championship table with a thumping win.

Convey, sent off during the USA's victory over Trinidad & Tobago in midweek, took his frustration out on Millwall, who had goalkeeper Andy Marshall sent off for a deliberate handball midway through the first half.

Winger Convey opened the scoring after six minutes, skipping past Sam Igoe and Matt Lawrence on the halfway line and ending a 70-yard run with a neat finish beyond the reach of Marshall.

Ironically the goal came on the counter attack from a Millwall corner after Reading keeper Marcus Hahnemann had sensationally denied Ben May and early opener.

Hahnemann followed that with an even better stop to keep out May's point-blank header on 12 minutes before it all went horribly wrong for Millwall.

They lost captain Lawrence to a medial ligament injury after 14 minutes and were then left without their keeper too as Marshall's rush of blood left the Lions all but defenceless.

The keeper only half cleared Marcus Phillips' back pass and then stretched to keep out Leroy Lita's goalbound follow up despite being four yards outside the penalty area.

With no other fit keepers at the club, the Lions were forced to play Phillips in goal and the central defender was beaten three times in 20 minutes as Reading rubbed salt into Millwall's gaping wounds.

The makeshift keeper's first touch was to pick the ball out of his net after Convey had rolled in a sublime free-kick.

The American winger had already crashed another free-kick against the inside of the post and it was his dead ball prowess which led to James Harper heading home Reading's third.

Phillips was beaten again two minutes before the break as Dave Kitson's penalty squirmed through his grasp after Igoe had handled a Glen Little cross.

The defender was put out of his agony at half-time as substitute Adrian Serioux became Millwall's third goalkeeper of the afternoon.

The Canadian looked far more composed than Phillips and even prevented Lita from joining in the fun late on.

But there was nothing Serioux could do about Steve Sidwell's diving header from a Little cross as Reading completed the job in the second half to end the afternoon on the top of the table.

Millwall manager Colin Lee said: "That was a game we don't want to repeat in a hurry.

"We should have been 2-0 up but their goalkeeper made two outstanding saves and then we got caught by a sucker punch. After that, it was just a case of mistake after mistake.

"We didn't have another fit keeper to put on the bench and I don't know whether the rules will allow us to sign one in time for the cup game against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday.

"I am not even sure if our youth keeper is registered to play so we may have to leave Adrian Serioux in goal." Reading manager Steve Coppell said: "I thought we were dreadful in the first 15 minutes and I was making notes preparing to lay into them at half time.

"But the goal changed everything and it was a terrific effort from Bobby.

"It is still a difficult skill to finish when you have run 70 yards, but he is full of confidence right now."

Thanks for that georg, welcome to the Voyageurs site!

Thought I'd save this for posterity on our site before they change the home page it is on.

There's another photo on the site of a two-man wall consisting of Stalteri & Edgar Davids.

If it was a photo of Hargreaves & Davids in a wall together it would probably be plastered across the Canadian sports pages, but because its only Canadian who merely plays for his country rather than somebody's else's, it's kept secret.

Some action from the weekend that was missed (sorry if I've repeated anything):

In the DFB Pokal (German Cup) this weekend, a bunch of Canadians were in action:

Daniel Imhof played the entire match as VfL Bochum advance with a 6-0 win over Tennis Borussia Berlin on Saturday.

Tam Nsaliwa played the entire match as FC Saarbrücken needed penalties to defeat FC Ingolstadt 04 on Saturday. The match ended 1-1 after 120 minutes, 4-5 on penalties. Tam scored the first penalty kick taken.

Kevin McKenna played the entire match as Energie Cottbus needed penalties to defeat RW Essen on Saturday. Then match ended 2-2 after 120 minutes, 4-5 on penalties.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fernando Aguiar does not make it off the bench in Penafiel's 2-0 loss to Rio Ave in the opening weekend of the Portgual's Superliga.

Marcel DeJong did not play in Helmond Sports 1-0 loss to FC Den Bosch in the Dutch second tier on Friday.

Marco Reda came on in the 90th minute as AaB tied Silkeborg IF 1-1 in Denmark on Sunday.

Kenny S. played the entire match as Bodens defeated Vasteras 1-0 in the Swedish 2nd tier on Sunday.

Will Johnson came on in the 78th minute as Chicago lost 3-0 to K.C. in the MLS on Friday.

Pat Onstad and Dwayne DeRosario both played the entire match in San Jose's 1-0 win over Real Salt Lake on Saturday. Pat made 6 saves.

This might sound impressive, but I bet this team could turn around and whip Bochum's ass in another sport 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, even if its on grass or clay.

Ya, I am a massive fan of Rot-Weiss Essen, hence zacRWE, I watched the ticker for this game and by the sounds of it, McKenna played well. He got his head on the end of a cross, which if converted would of tied the game 1-1 for Cottbus. They made it sound like a really good chance on the Ticker.

Too bad for my team, good news for McKenna!
