Alberto7
Just saw the highlights of the San Jose-Los Angeles game on the MLS web site (go to http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS/mls/sights/index.jsp?club=mls and chose Earthquakes vs Galaxy) and there is a sequence in the 55th minute where Onstad makes 4 straight point blank goal line saves. Quite spectacular. He also makes another great save a little later on. We also see De Rosario in action(and almost getting into a scrap with an LA Player). redhat
Good for Pat. Flashes of brilliance at his age, just like in his early days in the CSL. Despite his unfortunate WCQs, he was always available when called upon by the MNT ...
Guest Jeffery S.
I looked at that sequence a few times. Impressive. But it is not hockey guys. On the second shot he was in a position to hold onto the ball. A better keeper would have. Which would have eliminated the next two great saves and the sequence's impressiveness. That typical thing you say with keepers, the really good ones often do not shine since being in position or knowing how to hold on to the ball, means their saves are less spectacular. In this particular case I think Onstad should not be down on the first, is slow getting up for the second, third and fourth.

Although he ain't no Peter Chilton, the Onstad sequence was one for the highlights.
