yep, it's a 12 hour drive.

Yeah, one of the first signs you read when you round the corner from the Hotel Port aux Basques heading into the wind tunnel is "St. John's 899 Km.". The sign always struck me because it read 899 not 900.

Is there somewhere that has a schedule for the Codiac League's games ?

There used to be a web site but hasn't been updated since Aug. '04.

So if you're looking to go to a game let me know the dates you'll be in town and I'll, get back to you on games being played at that time.

I'll be in Saint John around July 16. Any games around that time ?

Sorry, I can't help you out much about Saint John. I took in some of the Rovers/Amherst U game to-night and couldn't get my hands on a schedule. But generally games are Tuesday and Thursday and are played at the soccer field at the Hal Betts sportsplex on Waterloo St.. By the river down by the Gunningsville Bridge (where the slo-pitch fields are) or at CCNB Dieppe, and at the field on Winston St. in Amherst also Clement Cormier H.S. in Buctouche as well as Louis J Robichaud H.S. in Shediac.

Chances are good at the Betts sportsplex as two teams use this as their home field.

EDIT: If I can get my hands on a schedule I'll let you know.

I'll be in the Saint John area, but the Moncton area isn't that far from Saint John.

Hey guys, I was just searching soem info about my grandfather and my name came up on this link. Never knew this site existed.

Hey Brett, how are you doing. See you are playing with Cross this year, great to see. Very nice to see that "Young Hawko" is making a name or himself, (11 goals in 10 games).

Anyways, i figured I should give my soccer teams website a plug. It has all the info taht you need on the Challenge Cup here in NL.

Talk to you later,

Rob

Sorry ignorance is no excuse but I really don't know much about Saint John area soccer.

Looks like a good league though.

Kings Co. Soccer Ass'n (Sussex Men), Fundy Men, Kingston Peninsula, Saint John Soccer Club, Hampton Soccer Club, Fundy Soccer Ass'n, Charlotte Co., UNBSJ. Mediterranean Masters has me puzzled, I wonder if this is a team sponsored by the Mediterranean Restaurant on Rothesay Ave. a popular spot when I lived in Saint John in the early 70's.

I have a feeling that Kings Co. Sr. Soccer League is the proper name for what we may wrongly call Fundy or more often Saint John League here in Moncton. The club names are there.

If it's okay,

Could you tell me how to get to Kiwanis Park & Rocky Stone Memorial Field ?

Kiwanis Park is off of Cassidy St. off of Mountain Rd. close to the English Hospital (north end kinda)

Rocky Stone is in the west end off of St. George Blvd in Centennial Park.

I'll e-mail you privately and give you my cell # and you can tell me where you are and I'll direct you to these fields from there, okay.

I know where Mountain Road is.

The information you just gave me should be enough.

Thank You.

Don't bother to E-Mail your Cell #.
