DJT
Canadians abroad on TV this week Notes: This list may be incomplete or inaccurate. Generally only premiere broadcasts are listed (in particular, FSWC repeats are not listed). All broadcasts are live unless otherwise noted. All times are EDT. None. Guidelines for this thread [*]In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for June 10-16, 2005. [*]If you find updates posted in some other thread or on the other Voyageurs forum then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster. [*]If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. [*]Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread. Guest Jeffery S.
In Norway, Bernier played 90 as Tromso drew Start 1-1 away. 90 for both Occean and Friend as Odd beat Molde 2-1, Occean took a yellow 2nd half.
Massive Attack
Rocco Placentino was subbed out at the 68th minute as Cavese tied Gela 0-0 in the Serie C2C playoff final on Sunday. This was the home leg for Cavese. The second match takes place next Sunday for a chance at Serie C1 (Italy's 3rd tier). I'm hoping Cavese can pull it off, as Franco Lalli, currently with the U-20's, is also owned by Cavese.

My records show he has been released by Lucera Calcio as of this week due to his injuries problems in his ankle over the past months. If the market is still closed how and when was he transfered if the club Lucera released him.
Massive Attack
I was under the impression that he was on loan to Lucera Calcio from Cavese. I could be wrong though, it wouldn't be the first time. The funny thing is that the CSA lists his club as Caves, and the FIFA U-20 site lists it as Lucera.

Im sure my time frame with ther markets opening and closing is correct however here is the article on Lucera Calcio confirming this information of him being released outright will no obilgation and at this moment nothing to suggest his movement prior to market to Cavese. This was released on June 6th or 9th of 2005 on their web site La lista ufficiale dei partenti Foresti Andrea (svincolato) Costanzo Raffaele (scincolato) Antonetti Roberto (Direttore Generale) De Bellis Antonio (svincolato) Tozzi Roberto (svincolato) Melillo Enrico (svincolato) Montemorra Nicola (svincolato) Lalli Franco (svincolato) Di Virgilio Giuliano (svincolato) Ricci Mario (trattativa per la cessione) Terlizzi (ritorno all'u.s.
Guest Ed
Dwayne de Rosario sprang Moreno with a nice pass from deep in midfield to send him in alone on the Chivas keeper yesterday. Chivas came back to draw the Earthquakes 1-1. A clip can be seen at mlsnet.com under "Sights and Sounds". Apparently Pwamme had the game winner deep in extra time but an out of position linesman called him offside (visual evidence at the Quakes forum indicates a bogus call). Off topic, the GM of the Earthquakes, Alexei Lalas, moved over to become GM of the Metrostars. This owning six clubs has its unique quirks. I think San Jose's days in the MLS are numbered. Guest Jeffery S.
Atiba played 90 as Helsingborgs fell to Malmo at home 0-1 before 17,000 fans. A win would have put them into first place, as it they are five points off Mälmo who are now in front after 9 matches.
Winnipeg Fury
FK Haugesund - Jotun Årdalstangen Kojic and Deserpa both score in a 4-0 victory for FKH. Pozniak has been out of the squad for the past few weeks.
DJT
quote:Originally posted by Massive Attack I was under the impression that he was on loan to Lucera Calcio from Cavese. I don't recall that. At one time (2003/2004 season) he was on loan from Avellino to Lucera; I seem to recall that Lucera obtained him outright at some point, but I can't find any record of that. The first time I remember seeing him linked with Cavese was when the CSA listed him that way, without explanation, on the preliminary U20 roster a month ago. Grizzly
Atiba is still in Sweden but helping his case to leave as he played 90 and set up the winning goal as Helsingborg defeated a team with a name too long to bother writing 1-0.
Winnipeg Fury
And again in Sweden from the 12th, Boden/Kenny beat Norrkoping 2-1.
