loyola
Those tournament are pretty close, the results between provinces like Quebec-Ontario-Alberta and BC are usually between less than 2 goals. The best team doesn't have always the best players! Maybe Quebec was the most organized defense ever and that,ms why they won, maybe it's because of great goalkeeping, who knows, if someone have names of players who have been ignored because of coaches politics and stuff like that we can talk. But assuming that Quebec should have more players because they won a tournament 1 yrs ago is a bit stupîd.
Gordon
I am not familiar enough with the national U-17 scene to offer and advice on selection, but the last time criticism about the absence of players for the national championship Quebec team arose, someone close to the team came on the board and explained that many of the Quebec players they were interested in were not eligible to play for Canada as they were not yet citizens. I am not saying this is the case this time around, only that it was the case in the past.
loyola
Stephen Hart is working part time for the immigration and he's blocking canadian citizenship for the Quebec players.......what a prick!
