14 IMPACT GAMES BROADCAST ON CJAD

MONTREAL, April 7, 2005 – For the third consecutive year, soccer fans will be able to follow the Montreal Impact’s activities on English-language radio, as 14 games of the 2005 season will be broadcast on CJAD 800, four more than last year.

CJAD will broadcast five road games, as well as two home games "away from home": the August 14th match-up against the Puerto Rico Islanders in Quebec City and the August 28th game against the Rochester Raging Rhinos in Sherbrooke.

The agreement between the club and CJAD will also span three years, with an increase in the number of broadcasts in 2006 and 2007.

"We are very happy to be back with CJAD," said Montreal Impact president Joey Saputo. “It was important for us to resume our partnership with CJAD in order to allow our fans to follow the team throughout the summer. ”

"Montreal loves winners, and this is a winning partnership to ensure Impact fans have exclusive coverage on CJAD throughout the regular season and into the playoffs,” said Standard Radio Inc. vice-president and CJAD General Manager, Rob Braide.

The Voice of the Montreal Impact on CJAD will once again be Rob Martier, and for the third straight season, CJAD is proud to welcome Impact alumnus Grant Needham as game analyst.

CJAD will kick off its broadcasts May 7th , in Virginia Beach, when the Impact squares off against the Mariners. The next day, CJAD will be in Richmond for the game against the Kickers.

CJAD will also be present for the May 15th game in Toronto against the Lynx and the May 21st match-up against the Rochester Raging Rhinos, as well as for the team’s home opener May 29, at Claude-Robillard Sports Complex, against the Rhinos.

Montreal will kick off the 2005 season and defend its First Division United Soccer Leagues championship title with a double-header in Puerto Rico, against the Islanders, April 29 and May 1.
