I've been in contact with him recently and he told me that things were going very well for him in Tours. He starts and finishes game on a regular basis, and the team as a whole is doing really well.

Tours FC is 3rd in their group with 8 games left in the season. They are 4 points behind second place. Next week they play Paris SG who are just behind them with the same number of points.

I have also heard that this coming May he will be signing a very nice pro contract. The director of shooting Stars soccer international, Mr. F Glasman is arranging some more Canadian players to be looked at this spring in France. Good luck to all those who are going on try outs and to those younger ones who are going for evaluations.

U18 Championat Tours 1 Vs Nantes 1

Calvin Rosario played 90 min against first place team Nantes.

Nantes have one of the best formation centres in France.

Tours is currently in 3rd place and gaining much respect for competing against the big clubs.

The head coach is pleased with the teams performance this season and has mentioned that this is one of the best teams Tours has had for this age division in a long time.

Calvin played in a central midfield role and did an excellent job preventing the attack from the opponents.

There are a number of scouts closely watching Calvin from Manchester UTD,Lile,As Cannes,Paris St Germain, Nantes and some clubs from Belgium.

A decision will be made within six weeks however Franscois Glasman of Shooting Stars Soccer International will decide what is the best situation for his development long term opposed to just the money.

Tours has also expressed some interest in terms of a 3 year agreement as they feel he will explode by age 21.

At the moment Calvin is just thinking about working hard and improving his game as he knows everything will fall in place in good time.

Calvin is a young 86 born in December. He plays equally with both feet and is one of the most creative Midfielders to come out of Canada.

Calvin is a very versatile player that can play any position on the field very well except Goalie. He is exciting to watch because you never know what is going to come out of his bag of tricks.

Calvin Rosario will be finalizing a deal with Tours FC in France this week to play PRO next season with them.

Francois Glasman of Shooting Stars Soccer will be flying to France to take care of his contract as well as to set up a new business project with Cannes.

The feedback from Tours has been excellent as the President, reserve coach and Calvin's U18 coach requested his signing.

They feel he has tremendous talent and believe he will become a big pro in 2-3 years from now.

The road to Calvin's recent success has been a difficult one.

This is one of the major reasons Shooting Stars is setting up a base in Cannes to recieve teams and players for training,Exhibiion games and trials. This will make the transition easier for future Canadian stars.

Calvin will be a main feature at some summer camps run by Shooting Stars in Georgetown and Orangeville this Summer. This will give the opportunity for players to meet him and learn some training methods used in French Formation centers.

Calvin Rosario just got cleared on an ankle injury he over looked last season. He had a slight fracture which has finally healed.

He has moved up the ranks in Tours FC and will be playing with the reserves with plans on playing with the first team before season end.

He will be joining his team next week and finalize his contract.

The coach and club are happy to have him back as they believe he has a bright future.

He had a great season 2004/2005 playing at the highest u18 in France which impressed the coaching staff of Tours.

His agent Francois Glasman of Shooting Stars is currently travelling with fresh Canadian talent in France. However, he feels Calvin is one of the best talent coming out of Canada to play in France.

Tks for the update. Could do without the usual Francois Glasman of Shooting Stars commercial, though.

Tours is in the 3rd Division. Many star players like Zidane and Patrick Vierra came from As Cannes of the 3rd division.

There is less pressure and more focus on development.

Secondly, playing for the reserve of a first division club is the equivalent of forth division CFA1 and reserve division 2 is equivalent of 5th division CFA2.

His agent has reccommended him to stay one season and make the first team which will be best for his development.

Since arriving in France at age 16 Calvin has had a 5 year plan to make top flight Football. He is currently 18 and on target.
