Daniel
Rumour has it that Montreal is looking at some TO-area players thanks to Super Mario, our assistant-coach (ie Pinnizotto). This includes some "European" players (beit trialists or players playing now). The name of Tony Menezes has also come up.
juaninho
Would this explain why the Lynx has no team as of yet? They're all trialling with the Impact? Beating the competition by relegating the competion to being NO competition may get you a win, but geez, is this still sport?
SeanKeay
Man, are we the Montreal Impact B team now... geeze louise.... Born to lose....

DoyleG
Now we know why so-called Lynx fans wanst MLS. They're tired of being Montreal's b!tch.
Jarrek
The Lynx are a team dedicated to player development for clubs other than their own, and destined to finishing at the bottom of their table every year.
Bxl Boy
I don't think Montreal aims to deforce Toronto by stealing their players They could do that with real D1 powers, like Rochester, but not Toronto And I'm pretty sure a lot of (former)-Lynx players contacted Pinizzotto and asked him "How can I come play for Montreal ?" We here all hope Toronto gets a strong team and plays the head of the rankings soon
François
I know that a lot of players from around the league would love to come and play in Montreal. We'll see...Very few spots are available with the Impact this season...
Bxl Boy
Here are the names (don't be afraid) : -Frank Bruno -Richard Gladston -Antonio Zupan -Mathew Budreski -Sergio De Luca Do you know them ?
Marc
Only De Luca, who was on trial in Portugal and Norway recently. He was with the Lynx a season or two ago, but didn't really do anything, if I recall correctly.
An Observer
I thought De Luca was in Hungary or somewhere....Frank Bruno was with the last U-20s and personally (although he didn't always start) I think he was one of the few that looked like they may have the qualities for the professional level. He was very comfortable on the ball and probably just needs some more confidence as to what to do with it.
Marc
Ryan tells me that Zupan played for Toronto Croatia. Other than that, the rest aren't even CPSLers. So much for stealing Toronto players...?

massimo
Anyone have any idea where Jason Bent ended up??? I figured the USL1 (A-League) would be a good place to relaunch his career.

Mr.Impact
I second the Jason Bent motion. Bring his Milli Vanilli looking ass back to the USL even if it is with the Lady Lynx.
