Translation:

Canada played a friendly yesterday against a Honduran club with one international in its ranks, a striker by the name of San Martinez [ed: incorrect name]. He was extremely well covered by Pizzolitto who was on his tail all game. The game was very intense throughout the 90 minutes. Canada won 2-0 with both goals coming in the second half. Leduc put away a solid penalty to make it 1-0. Vancouver's Valente made it 2-0. Grande came close to making it 3-0 when his superstrong shot from distance came crashing down on the post. Yallop only made 2 subs.

They're looking to play another club in the coming days.

Nice to see our B-team get a solid win. Still wish Grande was going to Europe. Still, if he and a few others can land good gigs in the MLS, that is at least a bit of a step up. Nice to have options, what with this B-team and the A-team getting ready to play in early February.
