analyst
An article in today's Vancouver Sun says the Whitecaps were taking a calculated risk with these choices as both players were drafted by MLS teams. They may not stick with the MLS as they are imports. The MLS teams start training Feb1, so if either or both get cut, they may have time to join the Whitecaps before the first league game on April 24 against Toronto. It would be fun to see Marshall, who is from the Toronto area, suit up aginst the Lynx.
