Forrest mentioned this on Saturday's Soccercentral (as well as Grande to LA Galaxy). I think he said it was a trial. But the players are off over the winter, right? So I'm not sure exactly what a trial would entail at this time of year.

I was hoping that Grande will be going to England (1st Division football there). If I do remember, Ipswich was courting him.

Ipswich was looking for a wide midfielder, and had Grande trialing there instead of his more natural central midfield role. They let him go as they felt he couldn't help them where they needed him to.

Yes if still under contract, no if not.

It is interesting to note that the MLS drafted 29 A-League players, a record I think. They are now starting to view the USL as a cheap source of players. Of course, the remainder of those will remain insigned, as the rules allow the MLS teams to draw a large net without cost or much obligation.
