beachesl
Yeah, I think you're right Griz, it was the Ulster accent that made it difficult to follow. Quinn asked Frank of he was going to see any Adidas money like the $150,000 for the USMNT, and Frank responded that he would be happy with $150. The clear, if unspolen, reference was that he wasn't happy with CSA funding. Onstad was not mentioned directly, but we've all known he is not in th epicture. Grizzly
Onstad was actually mentioned. When the topic of national keeper came up Frank said (rough quote), "Pat's finished". Onstad was also mentioned jokingly as a replacement for a Premiership keeper who was letting in weak goals (the announcers obviously didn't watch Onstad's performance in our WCQ games). beachesl
Oh yeah, "Dudek did a do-do", but the rest was just like a mumble to me. Good catch.
Daniel
ImpactSoccer is reporting that there was a small exhibition against "a Honduran team also training in the area".
Daniel
Leduc scored again, this time from open play to lift the Canadians to a 1-0 victory over a local XI (players training in the area, ex-MLS, etc.). We know that Olivieri, Braz and Leduc were starters, with Pizzolitto coming on in the 2nd half. The temperature was infernal, with the game played at 10am.
