Timotas
Player of the Month </u> Fri 31st Dec 2004 Tomasz Radzinski is Fulham's OPTA Player of the Month... December was a cruel-ish month for Fulham with three successive defeats tainting a four-point haul early in the period. Certain players enjoyed their festive period, though, and none more so than Canadian forward Tomasz Radzinski. The Polish-born dervish has failed to hold down a regular place in the Fulham side this season but sprang to life as Christmas approached with two goals in three games, trebling his tally for the campaign in the process. Twenty-one players scored twice in December but Radzinski was the only Fulham player to do so. Impressively, he hit the target with all four of his shots and saw a 50% conversion rate. Were it possible for him to maintain this rate for the rest of the season then he would soon rack up an imposing total of goals. Radzinski will hope that his recent surge in form ensures him a regular slot in Chris Coleman's starting XI. Second is the strapping midfield general, Papa Bouba Diop. The Senegalese strider started the month well, guiding his team to victory at Norwich and then scoring the equaliser against Manchester United at Craven Cottage, a goal that has already gone down in Fulham folklore. Diop was an imposing figure throughout the month and won 23 of the 24 tackles he attempted, a terrifying success rate for opposition players. Third place goes to German full-back Moritz Volz. Forced to miss the Manchester United game through suspension, it took the former Arsenal player a further game to win his place back from the impressive rookie Liam Rosenior. But once back, Volz settled back into the groove that has earned him a loyal band of followers at the Cottage. He made 15 tackles in three games, winning 10 of them and it is this consistency that will be needed throughout the club in the coming months. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/displaynews.asp?id=5805 Tomasz has be doing great for Fulham lately; scoring again today. Glad to see Tomasz back in tip top form.
