Michael Klukowski (La Louvière) will most than probably play in Bruges in 2005. Both clubs already found an agreement some days ago and now, the player and Bruges also found an agreement. He just have to pass the medical tests and sign his new contract.

He goes there to replace Peter Van der Heyden, Belgian international, who will play in Wolfsburg next season.

For the second half of this competition, Klukowski will certainly sit often on the bench but also learn a lot in order to be ready for 2005-2006.

Happy New Year to All;

Hey soccrguy65, we should all be thanking this Francois Glasman, from the" Shooting stars", as he has sent more than just one player oversees, and now according to a local paper he is starting out his own development program where he will be sending more Canadian kids to play oversees, so they can get the international experience. This is about the best we will get for our young talented players in my opinion. This will definite help the depth in our National teams, as the international player pool will be larger.

Bitter about something?

Francois Glasman "MR. SOCCER" is never bitter as he is helping more young Canadian boys than ever.

He is just dissapointed that the family forgot the financial help he gave them before Mike's career took off.

If I am not mistaken, it was also Francois Glasman who sent DeGuzman to Marseille. There are many other players from southern Ontario whom Glasman sent to youth teams in France.

Another Canadian who forgot how he got started.

Francois took Julian DeGuzman to France with his own funds to Maraseille.Julian was fortunate to stay there for 3 seasons as they wanted to release him after the first year.Due to Mr Glasman's strong contacts at the club they kept him there for 2 more seasons.

It is unfortunate some parents have their own agenda and get greedy.

Look out for other Canadians that Francois has established in France like Calvin Rosario and Robbie Burns. In addition, young Gavin McCallum in the UK.

That's very true dutcy.

One very talented player I know goes to Shooting Stars because he believes they are the best at player development and have the most contacts to fulfill his dreams.

I hear their fees are very reasonable and help families in need.

Way to go!

I remember at the U20 qualifying in Victoria, when Julian scored a goal (vs. Mexico I believe) he lifted his Canadian shirt to reveal an advert for Glasman or his agency.

Does not seem like he forgot to me.

What was the exact wording on his shirt.

Mr Glasman lost contact with Julian when he turned 18 and went to FC Saarbucken in Germany. Parents can represent their kids and bypass Fifa agent commissions.

I have talked to Shooting Stars and not even a card to say thankyou.

what goes around comes around.

Hey soccrguy65 let's not worry too much about the personal lives of past players and where they are now. I read an article about this Franocis Glasman guy and his passion of soccer but there was no contact or anything printed. Any idea how to reach this Soccer man to find out about his training, you seem to have some insight, thanks.

So wait, if they're paying you --- err, I mean "Mr. Glassman" --- for further development, why should they be obligated to thank the academy if it is fulfilled?

I, too, remember that shirt that Julian wore in Victoria (can't remember exactly what it said though).

Mr Rudi,

You need to get your facts straight before you make any statements.

The problem in these types of forums is people do not do there research before making their comments.Secondly, all I see is a lot of talkers and not enough people making a real difference in the game.

For your information people like Mike and Julian never paid a penny for the preparation or trials to Europe.

At the time Mr Glasman was helping some players get to Europe through his contacts. On many occasions he has used his own money to help these boys.

Mike got his start in an amatuer club in France that put him up in an apartment. He then got his chance with Tourcoin a CFA2 team at the time(5th division) who were affiliated with Lile.

Later on he got signed with Lile reserve where he started getting good money and then jumped ship to Belgium.

Before he cut it big on many occasions the parents cried the blues and Mr Glasman helped them.

Find out what was on his shirt and then get back to me with some solid facts.
