Former Champ
If we are going to be a truly, non-racist board we should ban all the Hippies. By definition they have very prejudiced and hold inflamitory opinions of other cultures and other peoples lifestyles. Always talking about saving the Earth, but only driving cars that get bad gas mileage.

Always talking about saving the Earth, but only driving cars that get bad gas mileage. Anyway...driving cars that get long gas milage is not my idea of saveing the earth. Diveing less, now thats the ticket. Fuel efficant cars still take up space on the road and in parking lots and contribute to urban sprawl and salty roads. Bicycles are almost always left out of discussions about the environment. There is absolutly no form transportation that is more efficant. It is also good exersize that an increasingly obease society could really use. Bicycles also requier much smaller infrastructure than automobiles. People talk about the pipe-dream of hydrogen fuel and bio disel and this and that, but those things will never, ever be able to compeat with the ecconomics of petrolium. Gasoline also contains a great deal of energy for its weight and is relitively safe to transport and handle. More so than any of the alternatives. Gasoline would be a great fuel that would last for tens thousands if we'd just it responsibly. Anyway, this is my first post. Current Champ introduced me to the site and got me to go to Canana vs Honduras in Edmonton. So, anyway...Maybe I'll have something to say about kick-ball, I mean socer. Former Champ
There you are! See, told you they are intollerant;). Cam was also at the kickabout at Foote Field and was wearing the hippietastic homemade Canada baseball cap. I been trying to get him to post for a while. As for you, Dave, don't call me a hippie, ya hippie. I may have been hippiesque, once, but I realize now it's too late. I'm more a nihlist. And Argh, if we banned all the yuppies, we'd lose 90% of the Ontario contingent.[]

[}] Alright, alright. I'll give you that one. And far be it from me to decline the alcoholic kindness' of others. Wouldn't want to offend anybodys generosity. Ah Yuppies. Think you nailed it on the head there. A liberal next-generation which traded "We shall overcome" and "Faith, Hope, & Charity" for BMW, Sony, and Microsoft. By the by, redhat. Be in your neck of the woods for a game at the Spectrum at 11 o'clock. If you can get away, head down about midnight or so and we'll see you right with a Guinness or two. Been ailing lately and we're in over our heads in this Christmas tourny so the traditional post-match lagers will be most welcome. FGB Football. Our moto. Win or loose, we're into the booze. Can't even watch the news relating to the tsunami. Unbelievable. Have family in southern California. Wonderful people. My uncle (Mum's uncle actualy) never got used to the 'quakes but the next generations are all Californian. Little shake now and then ain't nothing even worth changing the conversation over. Very strange. But 7.8? That's something.

I'm stuck at home with baby redhat ("Jack") and the blizzard (part 2) that's on right now. I also hoped to hook up with Winnipeg Fury last month, but the baby arrived for Xmas. Maybe we'll plan something for the Northern Ireland friendly if it's on the tube. Happy New Year, boys ... P.S. Got some Adidas gear for the boy, incl. a UEFA replica ball. But no, absolutely no VAN is being considered.
