Attention German speakers. Where's Waldo?

Recommended Posts

Don't think this was posted. Just looking at the http://www.transfermarkt.de/ website and saw that Waldemar Dutra is now with Sportfreunde Siegen (German Regionalliga Sud) (3). They are in a promotion position - 2nd.

It was posted earlier that FC Schweinfurt 05 was in receivership? Is there confirmation of this? Went to the site http://www.fcschweinfurt05.de/4572/index.html and didn't see anything. Then again I don't spracken ze deutsche. :)

At http://www.transfermarkt.de/ I saw Schweinfurt's Alen Marcina and John Castrillon marked as vereinslos. Does this mean unattached or out of contract?

Also need some confirmation regarding something Cooks? posted. Is former Calgary Mustang Aaron Richer trialing at http://www.fcenergie.de/ Pardon my ignorance but who is Rob Sing?(sp) Former Aviator?

Note to Jarrek. Tried to send you an email re Net54. As I am not too familiar with this forum I sent it to your msn addy and it was rejected. I don't do the IM thing or I would send you the info that way.

I think it was posted here that Waldo was on a short trial but did not stick with Sportfreunde Siegen. I am not sure of his status but his current club, FC Schweinfurt 05, is indeed insolvent as they say, so players are leaving en masse as they automatically get relegated to a lower league next season and all their results are void.

'Vereinlos' means 'unattached', so I assume the two other Canucks have returned home.

That transfer website is not always 100% accurate.

Regarding Richer, I have not seen anything posted at the Energie Cottbus website but will post if I do find out anything.

Actually I haven't been able to find anything concrete about Dutra either. I searched several sites a week ago. Transfermarkt was reporting him as transfering to Siegen but several posters from there said it was only a trial and that several Schweinfurt players had trialed in Siegen but none were good enough to be signed. I haven't been able confirm this either but since there is nothing about him on the Siegen site there is a good chance that it is accurate. Siegen is a good bet to promote so they are probably looking for players able to play in the 2nd Bundesliga. I think Alen Marcina was just on loan from PAOK so he is probably back with them.
