theirishhoser
if anyone is heading over for the match and has any questions about belfast, i'd be happy to answer them. how many canadians are heading over? i was at the match in edinburgh in 02 and there was a good turnout of canucks. toddy0011
[8D] Hey, if anyone wants to catch up with N.Ireland fans before the game for a few drinks, let us know!
Blue and White Army
What's the craic!!! Doesn't look like BBC Northern Ireland will be covering the match at all; haven't even heard anything about radio commentary on BBC Radio Ulster. Don't think I'd bother paying for my TV licence if I lived up there..... Anyway, for all you Londoners heading up and in need of a flag... Flags Online's website is back in action: http://www.flags-online.co.uk/category.aspx?catid=61&start=0 £7.95 for 5ft x 3ft Canada flags, and £8.95 for various provincial and Montreal flags. I guess it's too late to order via post, so here's the shop info once again: Flags Online 15 Boston Parade, Boston Road Hanwell, London W7 2DG 020 8840 6111 closest tube station: Boston Manor Lots of Northern Ireland flags in case you want to sacrifice some of them to any higher football beings... Blue and White Army
quote:Originally posted by Sigma Sky Sports (I thought that is what I heard)? Nope, not Sky. They'll have Wales and "Southern Ireland", but that's all. Have a look at their footie broadcast schedule here: http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.asp?hlid=217652 Ironically the England match will be on TV in Northern Ireland. Not much incentive for them to remain in the UK with crap decisions like that, is there?!? Ah well, you Canucks can hopefully dust off your computer TV tuners, and our Nord Iron brothers can take in the pleasures of Gerry Dobson commentary. A truly Canadian experience, unfortunately. theirishhoser
the beeb will be filming it, so i assume sportsnet will get their feed from them.
